First of all, the report came from Brandeis - one of the great lefty universities in America. I’m certain their samples were skewed.
Second of all, if black folk really did have that much less than white folk, it’s because they signed a pact with the Devil - better known as “the Great Society.”
Third of all, there is an extraordinary correlation between the state of black families from the time that God left public schools(early 1960s), and 1965, the onset of The Great Society.
Which they got by not becoming single parents, staying in school and working for them

I don’t know much about this ‘study or survey’ but I also think we need to look at some other factors except MONEY.
I wonder about the middle class blacks I know who are in the same boat as me right now. Are we rich? Are we happy with the economy or the job market? will we be happy with ‘equalization’ of our money?
Guess libs put this together. The old adage is true “you can make the data say anything.” Or as in the case of global warming, say it without any real science behind it.

Most blacks live in areas with lower real estate values. The average person has most of their wealth locked up in equity in their house.

Bingo! It is very unfortunate, but too often their own culture programs them for failure.

I’d bet that if you compare white two-parent families with black two-parent familes, the numbers would be much more similar.
This is not due to race. It is because of the fact that a much higher percentage of black families than white families are locked in a cycle of generational transfer of welfare dependency.
When momma, grandma, and greatgrandma all did nothing with their lives but take welfare, kids view that as an acceptable path, too.
Hmmm... Why... I’m going out on a limb here, but I think it might have something to do with having a job.
Since we’re all so racist, I suppose the numbers for Asians are bad too... right?!
I don’t give a hoot about any of this.
Some folks work for what they have, the others can eat from dumpsters for all I care.
