Thanks for the update Gail. I was wondering about Jeff this very morning reading a thread on the Russian Navy.

Glad to hear the surgeons are considering the operation(s) a success.

As one who spent many a sleepless night in hospitals with my Dad, I can appreciate what you’re going through. One thing to keep in mind, and I’m sure others have said it as well: Take care of yourself! You’re no darn good to anyone if you burn yourself out. And when a loved one is involved, it’s easy to rationalize that you “need to be there”. And you do, but with some rest, physically, and mentally. You’ve got a long road ahead of you. Pace yourself.

Great advice on taking care of yourself. Mrs SLB and I took care of her parents for about 10 years. The last three or four were pretty intense. We had to step back every-so-often and have a little respite and recharge and then we could forge ahead.
