Turkey has installed Anti-Aircraft Hawk Missiles at a village close to the Syrian border in an attempt to prevent Israeli war jets from violating Turkish Airspace in case of an attack against Iran or Syria.

A Turkish paper reported that Turkey will not allow Israel to use its airspace to attack Iran, Syria or any other country, and will act against any such violations.

The anti-aircraft batteries were installed in the village of Kayeel, south of Turkey and located close to the Syrian border.

Speaking on condition of anonymity, a Turkish military official stated that the batteries are meant to protect Turkey and its airspace against any violations, including American or Israeli war jets should Israel or the United States decide to attack Iran or Syria.

Purely under conditions of anonymity, I see it doesn’t applt to Syrian or Iranian craft.

They don't need to lose sleep worrying about an American attack on Iran.

After what the Israelis did to the Syrians, I don’t think I’d want to be a Turkish soldier manning one of those batteries.

They’ll never see them coming. Just poof!

Well, that will be an easy engagement envelope (bubble) that can be avoided...

Obviously, this is a public message meant to illicite a subtle political response...

Ankara must believe they are immune from a missile attack from Iran or something...

Dunderheads...

More confirmation that Turkey is in the Jihad camp. I guess if the 3rd World War doesn't light up first and we jettison our Marxist Muslim President, we'll have to remember all this Turkish help. Time to recognize a new independent Kurdish state that encompasses a chunk of our former friends lands.

Anybody in the MSM noting all these pieces falling into place; Hezbollah arming up, SCUDS into Lebanon, Iran testing their weapons, Israel announcing long range refueling capability, Gulf states talking about reactors. This will be a major Obama "oh sh_t" moment that will find him busy shooting hoops while the world burns again.

If this is true, we should no longer consider Turkey an ally. Unfortunately, I’m quite fearful it might have been our President who quietly whispered to Turkey that they ought to do so....If so, our nations days are already numbered.

Not very. 60's-era design, kept alive by decreasingly-effective upgrades. We phased them out in the 90's IIRC.

Hey Turkey, what convinces you that Iran won’t use it’s nukes on you? They don’t call him AhminaNutJob for nothing folks.

And their government being what it is, you would do well to get your Islamic boots on. And if you don’t do it just so, Iran is going to help you get it right.

Obama when he was briefed on this ...

“Batteries, don’t they have enough fuel for generators?” asked Obama.

His aide replied, “They are thinking Green, Zero Emissions”.

Obama says “Green is good, let’s send them a subsidy for these batteries”.

If Israel is thinking of hitting Iran they had better do it sooner rather than later. the longer they wait the tougher it will be

(IMO Sadly, I don’t think they are ever going to do it, but I’d be glad if they prove me wrong though)

BTW with russia helping iran build it’s nuclear plant, and offering to help Turkey with their s and considering giving Syria one as well, pretty soon the whole ME will go nuclear, and chances are Israel will be gone one day.

all it takes for evil to prosper is for good men(like Netanyahu) to do nothing.
