"Bzzzt. Wrong answer. That video wasn't part of Rand's campaign."

Again, a little education can go a LONG way...

“I tell people in my speeches that the most important vote that any congressman or Senator ever has is on war and peace… and had I been in the Senate during the debate over Iraq or Afghanistan, I would have forced a vote on a declaration of war… had I been in the Senate I would have held things up.”

AntiWar Radio Interview May 17, 2009

"You're basically what I would call a chip off the old block. Your policies are basically identical to your father, correct?"

"I'd say we'd be very very similar. We might present the message sometimes differently.. I think in some ways the message has to be broadened and made more appealing to the entire Republican electorate because you have to win a primary."

Rand Paul on Alex Jones, 5/21/09

Why is a purportedly conservative person, an alleged hawk on national defense, saying something like this on the "Anti-War Radio Network"? Gee, could it be because this is how he really thinks?

Rand Paul is not the answer.

Again you are doing something weird there, the second quote is meaningless and the first one isn’t a quote at all.

Where is the transcript, you didn’t even put together complete sentences.

Even with what you tried to pull off, it still comes out to pushing for a vote, big deal.

Rand Paul is not the answer.

You sure aren't doing a very effective job of selling Trey Grayson.

It's only meaningless to someone who wishes it was meaningless. The quotes are sourced. Check the links provided.

"Even with what you tried to pull off, it still comes out to pushing for a vote, big deal."

If that's how you comprehend it, I can't help you. I'm not sure anyone can.

The quotes aren’t sourced, the first one, that I want the transcript for was only a video, what are you trying to pull here?

Why are you avoiding trying to defend your man Trey Grayson?

I'm not selling anyone, unlike you apparently. I'm pointing out that Paul's positions on national defense, are at best questionable, and perhaps downright dangerous for the country.

Of course, this wouldn't be surprising considering his father's idiotic foreign policy positions.

Like I said, he and Kucinich should get along just fine. I expect joint bills introduced, forthwith.

I typically do not comment on these thread because typically I have no desire to further talk to Paul supporters after the way I’ve personally be treated since last year, before I even really knew who was running, but I have to say your post made me smile! Thank you.

The only thing "I'm trying to pull" are the cobwebs from your very cluttered mind.

What I see here is you covering yourself with sleaze, you haven’t posted one meaningful, or honest criticism, and you don’t even try to explain why the conservatives of Kentucky won’t touch your man with a ten foot poll.

This is an extremely weak thread for you.

Hopefully, people will listen to that Anti-War Radio interview, and decide for themselves - Does Rand Paul understand our enemies, and the danger they pose to the country. I think not.

Yet the only republicans that support your man are the pro-abortion crowd, why is that?

Conservatives, Christians, social conservatives, and the statewide Kentucky voting population support Rand Paul.

“Conservatives favor Paul by 51 percent to 29 percent with 16 percent undecided. Those who attend religious services regularly or occasionally favor Paul by double-digit margins. Gun owners back Paul 48 percent to 22 percent with 22 percent undecided.”

Rand Paul leads by double digits among men and women, among conservatives, pro-life voters, gun owners.

“Grayson leads today only among the 1 in 5 Republican primary voters who say they are pro-choice."

I have no idea, I don't live in KY. Perhaps Paul has been wildly successful disguising his real foreign policy positions. Perhaps conservative voters in KY only need hear "I'm against abortion", and that's all they care about. If that's true, that's a mistake for which we will all pay should another anti-war nutjob get into the US Senate.

The Congress doesn't need anymore isolationist/pacifists.

What we know is that across the board conservatives support Rand Paul, yet here you are pushing to elect Trey Grayson and mocking pro life Republicans.

Trey Grayson was a Bill Clinton man, and then became a Romney man, his campaign is self destructing because the conservative voters keep seeing him become more liberal as the campaign goes on, in two weeks, your guy becomes just another rino has been.

When I first started looking at this race, it was because Governor Palin and Steve Forbes endorsed Rand Paul, so I tuned in some and found that Rand seemed OK, and since then James Dobson and Jim Bunning have both endorsed Rand, Dobson was angry for being deceived into having first endorsed Trey Grayson and yesterday, retracting it and endorsing Rand Paul.

What I have learned about Trey Grayson as time went by makes me see him as a guy that needs to be run out of GOP politics, he is much worse than he appeared just a few months ago.

Dr. James Dobson Endorses Rand Paul for US Senate

It certainly doesn't need any big-spending, open-borders international globalists either.

The issue is all about GOP leadership in Congress. People unhappy with the party are backing Paul to send a message to the NRSC. Paul has effectively distanced himself from his father’s loons and made Mitch McConnell the issue. Paul suggested he would vote for Jim DeMint for Senate GOP leader. Thus forcing Grayson to make a stand for McConnell. Grayson had Dick Cheney, Rudy Giuliani, and Rick Stantorum to campaign. Paul jumped on those endorsements as proof that Grayson is just another party hack. Last week, James Dobson endorsed Grayson. Last night, Dobson took back his endorsement and flipped to Rand Paul’s die. Dobson said Mitch McConnell lied to him about Paul. Right now, Rand Paul could be Debra MedinaED and GOP primary wouldn’t care. They want to send a message of dissatisfaction to the NRSC.

Yes you are pushing Trey Grayson, the man that was a Bill Clinton man and is now a Mitt Romney man, just as Liz Cheney joined the Romney campaign and Dick and Mitt both support homosexualizing the American military.

Trey cannot get any traction among real conservatives in Kentucky, he started out 15 points ahead and has lost 33 points as the Republican base has gotten to see him and Rand Paul on the issues and see their character.

Trey is finished and we conservatives say good riddance to the Giuliani/Clinton/Romney/rino.
