Your adoptee would like to say thank you! This is part of the message I received this morning:

...because helping others has been one of MY greatest blessings in life. And it’s taken me 42 years to understand that it blesses others to allow them that same chance, as difficult as it is to ask for help.

limited resources, used for 'good' in a sacrificial way, are to my heart, the intended function of 'stuff'...

in that respect, the 'bluedog conservatives' who reflexively pull a D lever for the little guy and farmers, would never support a donation here, but they will meet the needs of the church building when it needs the extra $10...

so I believe that the coincidence of the absent checkbook on Sunday, simply enabled the diversion of the same resources, to another cause in the Lords Plans...ie the FReedom of His people...

I would like to adopt a freeper with only one caveat, if thats allowed. I would like to adopt a serviceperson so they can continue to have a voice. Hubby is a disabled vet and I would like do do this in his honor. I would like to send 20$ for this person.

I’ve had some very touching FReepmails over the last 24 hours. I wish everyone could read them so they’d know what some of our fellow FReepers are going through. They’re inspiring and I wish I could do more to help them.
