A better question might be why we even arrest these people. It should be pretty OBVIOUS by now that if you a see a Somali boat more than a few miles off the coast they’re likely not documenting the latest changes in the flora and fauna of the ocean floor. JUST SINK THEM. Why is this so hard for people in power to understand?
My thoughts exactly. They should have been blown out of the water the minute they opened fire on one of our ships. If we did that with some frequency, we might eliminate some of the Somali scum and curtail future attacks.
