Paul leads Grayson among pro-lifers by a 50%-32% margin. Grayson leads Paul among pro-abortion Republicans by a 42%-27% margin.
Conservatives favor Paul by 51 percent to 29 percent with 16 percent undecided. Those who attend religious services regularly or occasionally favor Paul by double-digit margins. Gun owners back Paul 48 percent to 22 percent with 22 percent undecided.
Rand Paul leads by double digits among men and women, among conservatives, pro-life voters, gun owners.
Grayson leads today only among the 1 in 5 Republican primary voters who say they are pro-choice.
I can’t disagree with anything you’ve written. And onyx is 100% right. He’s skating to a primary win.
You’d think we’d learn from electing a person with no legislative record to a high office.
I have to say that I am amazed at Palin’s naivete here. It’s not like Rand Paul will do anything about spending. He’ll do the grandstanding and buffoonery we’ve come to expect from the Paul crowd. She should have known by now what the Pauls are all about and her record does not indicate a sympathy for Buchananism masquerading as libertarianism.
If we are very very lucky, Rand Paul is simply naive about world affairs and believes if he closes his eyes to a problem, it doesn’t exist. If not, we’ll get a lovely anti-Israel/anti-Semitic outburst.
I think it’s entirely likely that Rand Paul will lose this election. Even if he doesn’t have a Debra Medina moment, the Dems will have enough to destroy him.
This is all moot. Rand will win decisively on May 18th.
I share your sentiments and opinions of Ronald Paul and his suppporters. I think you’re spot on, TitansAFC, when you state that Randall is running for the US Senate in KY, so that he can be the Paul to run in presidential elections.
Randall is an empty slate -— no experience, no record -— and yet, he’s apparently going to skate to victory in the primary. Senator Bunning’s endorsement last week was the proverbial icing on the cake.
And since that REALLY IS the best that the Ex-Democrat RINO hack Grayson can bring to bear, Rand Paul is going to send him packing.
The entire race has been mishandled from the start. KY had plenty of time to find and run a conservative Republican with experience, but it’s too late now. McConnell fueding with Bunning wasn’t helpful and that’s putting it mildly.
OK, I’ve done this before. Here is “Right to Life of Northern Kentucky”’s website: http://nkyrtl.org/
Here is “Kentucky Right to Life Association”’s website: http://www.krla.org/
Just click on them and tell me which is the organization that represents a large group of people and which is a fringe organization.
I don’t know who “Right to Life of Northern Kentucky” is or what their origins are, but anybody can give themselves a name and endorse a candidate.
Then why would he be deceitful about it? Why change it after the fact?
A typo? What, the candidate for the Senate from the state of Kentucky doesn’t check his work?
Has he managed to avoid questions regarding Israel? I can't say that I have kept close track of his campaign. I know that he's his father's son, and that there's at least some evidence he's friendly with Adam Kokesh.
I'd hate to see the GOP lose the US Senate seat in KY, but I think you could be right about the general election. Folks are bound to find him frightening once the democrats start in on him: crazy Ron Paul's son.
I've sometimes noticed omissions on documents I have faxed, corrected the omission, and then re-faxed the document.
Shockingly, this sort of moral depravity happens in office environments all over the country.
A typo? What, the candidate for the Senate from the state of Kentucky doesnt check his work?
Yes. You're right. This is literally the best argument that you have against him.
Congratulations. You've done it. This will certainly help Grayson to win the election. I advise you to spend all your time and energy crowing about Rand Paul's lack of secretarial skills.
Run with it.
The Senate seat seems to be safe for Republicans, besides, how much sense does it make that a guy that is 15 points behind the front runner is the one that will be best in the general election.
Rand Paul is 15 points ahead with the Republican primary voters and has the support of two of the state’s most popular politicians, Jim Bunning and Sarah Palin.
Trey Grayson is a Romney/Bill Clinton man that just got endorsed by Rudy Giuliani and only has the support of the pro-abortion Republicans (see post 21).
According to fec.gov:
Robert Cetrulo, President of Northern Kentucky Right to Life gave $500 to the campaign of Ken Lucas (D) for Congress.
Cetrulo is an attorney. There is a Donald Cetrulo of Lexington, KY who gave $750 to Obama.
Fred Summe, Vice President of Northern Kentucky Right to Life gave $1600 to the campaign of Edwin Gex `Jay’ Williams (R) for Congress in 1998. He was Lucas’ opponent. This used to be Bunning’s seat. Williams lost embarassingly.
Robert Hofacre, Treasurer of Northern Kentucky Right to Life gave $200 to Gex Williams in 1998. He also gave $200 to Lyndon Larouche in 2004.
Lyndon Larouche.
Lyndon Larouche.
With people like you campaigning for him, how could he lose? I know you'll be there fighting to prevent a liberal Rat from winning the seat.
He isn't sending a memo to his secretary. He is trying to get the endorsement of a major organization in conservative/Republican circles.
I guess his tax forms get the same amount of scrutiny.
You would think he would take the time to fill it out properly.
Is this the kind of sloppiness we can expect from Rand Paul?
He certainly took the time after the fact to alter it.

But, you're right. This is literally the best argument that you have against him.

Run with it.
Like I said, I’m not happy with the KY race, but it’s too late now. I am glad I do not vote in KY, but my husband has several relatives that do.
Yeah, ‘cause I’m all super-powerful.
Look, I don’t believe in the power of the Internet warriors. What I say means nothin’ in terms of swaying this race. I won’t take any joy in saying “I told you so” when Rand Paul implodes.
Frankly, I think even Rand Paul would be better than whatever freakazoid the Democrats put up. Of course, I’m against said freakazoid getting elected, hence against Rand Paul getting the nomination.
-—”Here is Trey Grayson speaking on Sarah Palin.
Trey Grayson:Palin is unqualified to be President”-—
Hell, that’s heavenly praise compared to what Ron Paul supporters say about Sarah Palin.
I'm a "Ron Paul supporter".
Cutting taxes, cutting spending, Pro-Life, Gun Rights -- I approve of the majority of Ron Paul's political positions.
And I love Sarah Palin.
That’s it?
Palin endorses Rand Paul for Kentucky Senator, Trey Grayson goes out of his way to trash Sarah Palin, and that is your witty take on it?
