After years of listening to radio talk shows I have come to the conclusion that they are merely entertaining in content — they have no direct impact on the nation’s political psyche.

It depressed me to be reminded, every day, that my country was going to hell in a handbasket. I was well aware of it, that’s why I stopped listening. I never heard any good news on talk radio (simply because there isn’t).

Rush, Hannity, Levine and others can still make lots of money without me listening to them.

Wow-I was just listening to a caller from Indiana (from very near my home, in fact) and he was speaking about the HORRIBLE things that were said about President Bush. In fact, he reminded Rush's fans that Bill Mayer, Mauher(sp?) whatever, practically begged someone to assassinate President Bush. Lots of things like that went down...katie colic and keith olbermann etc, practically puked every time they had to say President Bush's name.

The point the caller made was that the LEFT is not used to hearing ANYTHING from the right, especially SEEING the right in action like at the tea parties. Therefore, these tea parties are a total threat to them so they are exaggerating the words spoken, etc.

Rush *did* err by stating that the Ruby Ridge incident occurred on Clinton's watch -- it actually happened in 1992, during the GHWB admin.

True, but he's seems to have ignored the 'day care' that was also in the building. Bad, very bad move if you are trying to generate sympathy for a particular point of view.

I'm still convinced that the bombing plot was an 'agent provocateur' operation that got away from the FBI/ATF and had to be covered up right quickly. That was no two man job!

Actually I believe you will find it goes deeper than that. It ties back into the drug running operation into Mena, Ark. and Iran Contra. Even after Iran Contra ended, the drug running operation kept going.

There was also a drug running operation on the ground that ran from Chicago to south TX and back up through Bill Clinton's ARK. to Chicago.

Corrupt law enforcement in Chicago were taking the guns that were confiscated and supposed to be destroyed, hauling them to Mexico in exchange for drugs.

Bill Clinton had his ARK state troopers providing protection for this drug running operation. He ordered them to “RACIAL PROFILE” to stop the other drug runners.

In 1991, with the R King beating, Bush 41 ordered a review of the complaints files against police with the FBI. BC had been sued by the Reagan/Bush JD for ordering his ARK state troopers to “RACIAL PROFILE”.

Following the LA riots in 92, the FBI claimed there was nothing in the files. Bush 41 then ordered the US Attorneys to review the complaints. The review of the files was never released.

When Reno was nominated for AG, she bellowed like a moose that the first thing she would do as AG would be to release the content of the files. She didn't. She fired the USA’s instead of releasing the files. No one in the news media bothered to follow up on the content of the files because their attention was diverted by a little incident in Waco.
