Believe it or not, bullying a woman on TV and insulting a Polish American constituency (as a senator from Pennsylvania of all places) aren’t the stupidest things Specter has done.

How about the time he stood in front of an audience and told them that they had no right to demand to know what was in the “health reform” bill. Even more stupid than that was the confused look on his face over the ensuing uproar.

Toe sucking Dick Morris ragging on Specter for treason is disgusting and ironic at the same time.

The “single bullet theory” doesn’t say that only one bullet hit JFK. It says that the first bullet hitting him is also the one that hit John Connally.

Excuse me, but did I say otherwise? I made no such claim.

It appeared to me that murron in #50 jumped to the conclusion that "single bullet theory" meant that only one bullet hit JFK, after you mentioned the single bullet theory in #32. I was addressing my comment to murron and I copied you.

The rules are the rules. Been there forever.

Most folks have no idea that there is a time honored process.

If we want to change it then so be it but for now we try to follow the rules.

Much as there was complaining about the maoist leaving the WH without the press corpse, we are not of that ilk.

Specter orignal slogan:

"He's young. He's tough. And nobody owns him."

However, even way back then he couldn't keep his stories straight, e.g., calling his wife by his girlfriend's name at the big victory rally!

Also, there was a fancied resemblance to the young Lincoln. He also seemed a good way for the moribund Pennsylvania Republicans to attract urban Jewsish votes.

Arlen. The stuff of Philly Legend.

That’s how I know this Republican party today is different....because the people on the ground (and I’m not talking about the RNC), and they are mostly women,

Now it's suddenly fashionable to jump on Arlen, who if truth be told, was a no-good liberal SOB from day 1, but it was the official Republican Party who propped him up for 40 years, most notoriously when GW and Karl The Idiot Savant went all out for him against a real Republican in that primary. One reason? Arlen always did very well with the ladies' vote.

Just think, 100 years ago, the core of the Republican Party was composed of principled, common-sense white men who made the country run, African-American men who knew which political party had actually released their families from slavery at the cost of 100's of thousands of Republican lives, and the majority of teachers and college professors.

Today's GOP, you tell me, consists of female political professionals ("the People on the Ground") and somehow, Michael Steele as The Man on Top? Why does this lash-up not inspire me with confidence ... or inspire me to financially support it?

All you need to know about Dick Morris:

He spent most of 2006 in Kenya with some sleazeball Illinois Senator formerly known as Barry Soetoro, campaigning for Soetoro's cousin, Raila Odinga. The Chicago pol and Odinga are both members of a Kenyan Tribe, The Luo.

"No big deal," you say? Except that it is illegal for an an elected US representative to get involved in another country's internal polititcs (The Logan Act) And the guy Morris and Obama campaigned for, made speeches on the stump for, and donated over 1 million bucks to, is
(a) A communist
(b) A jihadist
(c)Called for Sharia Law in autonomous Muslim Provinces
(d)Fomented a civil war when he lost
(e)Encouraged his followers to massacre Christians, particularly members of the Kikuyu Tribe,
burn them out of their villages, take their farms, and put over 300,000 people on the road.
(f) Demanded that native Christians be expelled from Kenya's Government and that missionaries be imnmediately deported.

The sleazeball Chicago pol, with Morris at his side, then worked tirelessly to get his cousing Odinga made Prime Minister. Since then, the entire economy of Kenya has been damaged to the extent that the country, once a food exporter, can no longer even feed itself because the Kikuyu people expelled from their lands were among the country's most efficient and productive farmers.

Dick Morris was paid for his Kenyan Adventure by a Clinton Foundation, fronting for George Soros. Ask him.
Dick Morris is now, and always has been, a key Clinton operative. He is turning against Obama now as part of an arrangement to have Hillary get back centrist Democrats to win in 2012.

Ironic, when she is a bigger commie than Obama could ever be, and a whole lot smarter about it. Drop Morris now. He's a trick ... part of the deal to replace the Affirmative Action Anus with a more effective socialist. The only guys who can't figure this out are Hannity, and other right-talkers who insist on giving Morris a showcase on their shows.

Their theory, as personally explained to me, is "The enemy of my enemy is my friend." Not quite. Dick Morris is also our enemy because he works for and belongs to the enemies of our nation..

Do you have a choice? GET INVOLVED. That’s the difference. The people who are working now are different then the women (and men) 20 years ago. I see it everyday. The people working understand what’s at stake and are definitely more Conservative than they used to be, if only because that’s the trend? I don’t know...but the point is to encourage Conservative people to become PC’s and make your voice be heard. Your local republican district meetings are open to the public. I suggest you go. I suggest everyone goes.

I read an article in the 1980’s that Specter somehow enable those involved with the JFK assassination for some reason that has always stuck with me and whenever I read about him doing devious thing that article comes to mind.

Specter was a member of the Warren Commission, and iirc, the author of "the Magic Bullet" theory. He had never been all that seriously challenged in his political career thereafter, until lately, so draw your own conclusions...

People forget about that trip...(Kenya 2006)

It's not so much that they forget, than have never heard of it! BBC footage of the massacres was on youtube for about half-a-day, then pulled. The story never made the MSM. Right wing radio talkers dropped it except for Liddy, who never got the facts right, WND writes reams about Birth Certificates, but covered it in a pargraph flacking Dr. Jerome Corsi's book. (Excellent info, but written in a breathless Hardy-Boys-Nancy-Drew tone that destroys its credibility.)

I tell the story to quite respectable looking people, and they think I"m crazy. (Avoid obvious rejoinder here, please!)

Like the Ayers connection, this is hidden history for today's John Q. Public, who can tell you who Brittany Spears is thinking of screwing, but has no idea where Kenya is, or anywhere else.

BTW, if an 8th grader in 1952 was a ignorant as today's 40-year-old voter, he would have been sent forthwith to sheet metal school. Now they just graduate'em and no one knows any American history, nor anything about sheet metal work!

Hildy, you are right. If every freeper were a committee person, it would make a tremendous difference. See you at the Convention.

I meant FReepers...forgetting.

But of course you are correct....

Government MEDIA...should be tried for treason.

I've said for years now....that the MSM is the most dangerous entity in the United States....
