Also, I believe I said that if the polls don't show a close race I would go 3rd party.
I tell you one thing - I'm glad I don't live in Illinois and have to consider pulling a lever for that guy. We need to get someone to take out Claire in 2012.
This sounds like false flag to me buddy. Sure Kirk is no rock solid conservative, but here in Illinois, he is the best we’re gonna get. He’ll be a hell of a lot better that the G man.
Really? Is the Alexi typing this?
I used to know the cook at Boston Blackie’s!!
There are so many dirty politicians in Illinois in both parties... if you’re from any state other than Illinois, Jersey or Louisiana, believe me, you have NO CLUE.
I left Illinois 5 years ago, by comparison, Colorado politics are squeaky clean.
It's pretty much moot anyway. Kirk isn't going to win because IL conservatives are going to vote down-ticket, and plus the usual Dem vote fraud and Chicago machine will put Giannoulias over the top.
Cause the 3rd party way will surely give us Giannoulias.
If I lived in IL, I would gladly vote for the Libertarian candidate regardless of what the results were.
He's not even a rock solid liberal.
I'm telling you Kirk is a flaming socialist from Hell. Do you want him to be voting with the Dems if the GOP win back the Senate? This guy is nothing more than a younger Arlen Specter.
Ah, so you’re not even from Illinois. Makes sense.
“You’ll hold your nose for someone who’s stand on abortion is on par with Obama’s?”
Great logic, let’s give the Democrats all the committee chairmanships again. It’s worked real well lately.
(1) Don't stand too close to me at rallies.
(2) No pictures.
(3) Don't mention my name, and the word, Republican, in the same sentence.
(4) Keep Bill Brady, Jason Plummer, Chris Lauzen, Steve Rauschenberger, Randy Hultgren, etc. at least 100 miles away from any campaign event I'm at.
(5) Log Cabin Republicans, Planned Parenthood, Sierra Club, and other lefty lobbyist groups are allowed to be mentioned, YOUR organizations are not.
(6) All signed pledges I made to conservatives during the primary have been placed in the paper shredder the day following the primary election and will be returned to you unfilled. What are you gonna do, vote for the Chicago Democrat thug? Hahahaha!
In the general, he is the only choice.
Lachisula
Since Apr 1, 2010
Lachisula's user name sounds like a false flag to me. Another person who just signed up on a conservative forum this week to promote a socialist DIABLO.
If Lachisula is really "from" Illinois, he/she would know we had a solidly conservative Senator as recently as five years ago, proving Kirk is NOT the "best we can get" in this state. And it will be proven true again in this November when "unelectable" conservative state Senator Bill Brady is elected the next Governor of Illinois.
“The time to defeat Kirk is in the primary.”
Too many conservative candidates divided the vote in the primary. Other states should learn from that. Get behind one person in the primary. Trying to run a Third party person in the General Election is futile....and the Dems would love it.(We already had our Primary in Illinois. It was moved up to February to accommodate The Messiah in 2008, it has been moved back now for next time. Strange how flexible our election laws are.../s)
[There are so many dirty politicians in Illinois in both parties. . .]
Sometimes I think big political machines just have apprentice politicians draw straws to determine who will be a Democrat or a Republican to create the illusion of choice.
Hello, the mid-terms affect everybody. Kirk's election could be a swing vote on key issues to the Dems.
I don't give a feces about committee chairmanships or "maintaining a majority." I am only supporting candidates that are principled conservatives and will fight the Obama agenda.
Mark Kirk supports everything from the Obama agenda aside from the war which he can't do anything about anyway.
That is how Blagovich got a second term. 11% went for the Green Party candidate.
I’ll be supporting FReeper Joe Bell.
Other than the letter by their name, there is no difference between Obama and Kirk.
