Most of the police are probably on their side, as well they should be.
Of course we are. We aren't a threat to them or their families. Given a choice between living next door to a rabid leftist and a conservative, I suspect they'll choose the conservative every time.

My guess is 200 million Americans are overt Tea Party members or sympathetic to the cause. The commies will find out November 2nd. Will any democrats be elected? . .

That way, they won’t have their neighbors pointing fingers at them every time they respond to a deadly threat with their gun.

I had an Ann Arbor cop living next door to me for a while.
He saw me burning a big pile of brush one day and asked me if there wasn’t an ordinance against open burning. I shrugged my shoulders and told him that no one had stopped me yet. Within an hour he was dragging his brush pile together for a good burn.

The only thing that bothers me about that story is the fact that the two of you willfully contributed to global warming.

It’s hard to breathe in Ann Arbor because of all the smug.
To: FateAmenableToChange
Fortunately the prevailing winds carry the smug away from here and out over Detroit and then Canada.

Just keep ignoring that the tea partiers are normal working Americans at your own risk.

Hey, don’t worry about it. You won’t be punished.
Sometimes we get in a hurry and things happen. lol

Im still embarassed by how I handled characterizationThat's nothing. This is a sorry secret but I feel I can tell you -- and only you.
Today I couldn't spell "early." I simply and completely forgot how to spell it. My attempts were so far off that even spell check couldn't come up with the right correction. I tried "erly" and "urly" and I knew they didn't look right but I couldn't come up with the right spelling! And it's only a two syllable word!
