Have mixed feelings about this. I understand how this can lead to favoritism. On the other hand, I do know of two cases where a student/professor relationship lead to happy marriages. It also reminds me that I should have made a move for my very sexy Israeli History Professor who loved wearing tight leather pants (her specialty was Italian Fascism interestingly enough).
