Amidst the heightened tensions and threats of security against members of Congress that has followed the passing of health care, some pundits are targeting Sarah Palin as an example of irresponsible fan flaming. We’ve already addressed the mysterious power of her Facebook page, but it is the actually a graphic ad on her Facebook page for SarahPAC (featuring cross-hairs) that is raising the most ire, even from more traditional pundits, namely, The View’s Elizabeth Hasselbeck

With conservatives like Hasselbeck, who needs Rachel Maddow.

Someone tell Hannity to keep this nitwit off his programs. She's quickly entering the Megan McCain area, IMHO.

I doubt enough people watch Hasselbeck to even worry about what she says. And probably fewer watch Maddow.

Any “conservative” who’d stick her head in the bedsheet at the View to be pelted by the leftist harpies on that channel doesn’t have the brain capacity to criticize anyone else.

She must be suffering from “Stockholm Syndrome” after too many years hanging around with Joy Baywhore, Babwa Walters and their crew.

Elizabeth can’t get them all right. She basically stands alone on that panel, defending Conservatism day in and day out. She fell for the leftist spin here. There’s no doubt about it.

I honestly don’t know how she can sit there listening to Brayhar and Whoopsie. I’d be jumping that table to get at them. LOL, not really, but I wouldn’t stick around to listen to that noise.

"..nothing’s going to happen getting from here to the final hurdle here unless you really start cracking some heads,

"Suddenly Emanuel grabbed his steak knife and, as those who were there remember it, shouted out the name of another enemy, lifted the knife, then brought it down with full force into the table.

''Dead!'' he screamed."

I think she finally gave in to peer pressure exerted via political correctness. We've all experienced it at one time or another, and it's tough to stand up for your convictions when seemingly everyone around you is drunk with the PC kool-aid.

That said, though, the only way we're going to win this war (and that's precisely what it is) is if we refuse to accept PC nonsense. No matter how intimidated we might feel, whether at school, work, or in social settings, we must refuse to cooperate with their insane agenda.

I was shocked when I learned she was a graduate of Boston College! Shocked!

That used to be a hard school to get into, and then graduate! What the heck happened.

The reason they have her on that show is because she is defenseless, utterly defenseless in the battle of wits. Let’s see them try the same nonsense with Michelle Malkin, who would run circles around those bimbos.

And that is all the left needs to keep this completely bogus non-story going.

1)Create fake controversy about conservatives/Republicans
2)Push controversy in media
3)Wait for a one or two deluded conservatives craving for spotlight to agree with liberal talking point
4)Use attention seeking conservative to continue pushing story
5)Rinse and repeat

John McCain actually filled this role many, many times.

Every political insider knows this entire “Republicans are dangerous and mean” whining was part of the overall strategy the Democrats devised for HCR. They knew it wasn’t popular, they knew the right would be furious, so they executed a strategy to try to make everyone that opposed HCR look like crazed nuts. The left knows the mainstream media will play along, and they know some conservative/Republican will inevitably show up and give them cover to continue the nonsense.

And those independant voters he has been bleeding are the the voters who pushed him over the top in the 2008 election. I do believe this very statement, along with the disastrous fiscal policies he is enacting, will continue to push this crucial voting block away from him for good. The indie voters are fiscal hawks and most of them detest social turmoil. No second term for him:)

"Folks, good grief. The woman counters the spin from the left over there all the time. So she blew this one, at least we have a voice there."

This isn't an isolated incident. She does this crap all the time. Case in point, just a few days ago...

‘The View’: Elisabeth Hasselbeck condemns racial epithets during health-care protest as ‘ignorance and hatred’

Not once did she suggest that maybe, just maybe none of it happened.

She supports gay marriage. She made some comment last year about how it was the government's responsibility to help single mothers pay for daycare. It goes on and on.

Elisabeth Hasselback gives that show a patina of "balance", that is used to help ABC pretend that it's giving voice to the other side. If there was a smart conservative women on that show, she would DESTROY the leftists on that panel.

There are MILLIONS of smart conservative (and telegenic) women in this country. It makes you wonder why they decided on the intellectually vacant Hasselbeck.

She has a degree in fashion design, not economics. Just saying. Prior to securing a place on the View set with the other hags, she was a game show contestant. This isn't the "stuff" of great conservative thinkers.

That’s a reasoned come-back. That patina of support you mention isn’t limited to her either.

O’Reilly and others do it too. And there were plenty of Republicans apologizing for what hadn’t taken place the other day. It’s demoralizing to see them assume that it did take place.

It’s that patina of support premise, that leads me to dislike Bill Crystal and other media darlings adored by the left, for this very reason. They diffuse solid Conservative thought, so much so that the concise Conservative voice has disappeared from the talking head shows.

If Hassleback is to be taken to task, your method of doing it is much more reasoned than addressing this one issue. If she misses the mark consistently, then it’s not a good idea for her to sit there. Still, you know damn well they won’t put a fully capable voice on that program. They couldn’t deal with it.

Thanks for the comments.
