Patty Murray Votes To Allow Convicted Sex Offenders To Receive Taxpayer-Funded Viagra

Wednesday, March 24, 2010 @ 09:03 PM

Highlighting her left-wing agenda and the extreme lengths to which Democrats are going to preserve their massive government-run health care bill, U.S. Senator Patty Murray (D-WA) voted today to block an amendment that would have prohibited health care plans administered by the federal government from covering erectile dysfunction drugs for individuals convicted of child molestation, rape, or other forms of sexual assault.

The amendment, which was offered by U.S. Senator Tom Coburn (R-OK), was defeated by Murray and her Democrat Senate colleagues during today’s health care reconciliation debate.

“Patty Murray’s decision to allow individuals convicted of child molestation, rape, or other forms of sexual assault to obtain taxpayer-funded drugs like Viagra is disgusting and disturbing,” said National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) spokeswoman Amber Marchand. “Once again, Murray put partisan politics before her constituents, and showed Washingtonians that she’s beholden to the extreme left. We’re confident that voters will hold Senator Murray accountable for this revolting vote in November.”

At least her vote is consistent. If health care is a right, and if Viagra is health care, then Viagra is a right.

You have to hand it to the Republicans, they have definitely set the stage for some great campaign commercials come the Fall election.

Somewhere, in this fury of busy Democratic politicians communizing us, we must take a moment to contemplate, revenge. Remember conservatives are in the process of being slandered - if your going to end up known as a violent beast no matter how you behave, you may as well give yourself a little room for action.
I think these pathetic bully boys on the left can be scared. I mean sole destroying fear. They are universally physical cowards which means all you do is plant an idea in their minds, you actually don’t have to hurt them.

That was a sweet amendment. Too bad they didn’t have more time. There could have been more gems that were “commercial ready” so to speak. Patty is going to pop a lace when these adds hit the air.

And what could be the possible rational for these libs voting this way? Are there that many sexual deviates out there whose votes they would lose?

It doesn’t matter how much sense the Republican requested amendments make, the Democrats are going to take no chances of this bill making it to the house floor again. We need to throw these bums out starting with Patty Murray.

Oh, I here Dino Rossi may be throwing his hat into the ring, running against her.

The voters in Washington chose to send her back to the Senate after she gushed about and praised Osama bin Ladin. If the voters didn't getting kick Osama Mama out of office for this, its hard to believe she will be punished at the polls for supporting sex offenders. After all, I am sure the sex offenders do all kinds of good for the region. /s

Rossi is the one that could beat Murray badly. I know Rossi was not thrilled about moving to DC due to family reasons in the past but hopefully he will see it is for the good of the country.
