Hastings has become very popular among the cultured set (mediacrats, journalists, etc.).

Their condo has a beautiful view of the Hudson and the Palisades. Although you have to drive through the ghetto to get there, their nabe is OK (and within walking distance from Metro North).

What ghetto? I was thinking North Broadway would take them to Hastings, route 9. The Palisades is beautiful.

Wish I could remember the street, but when you get off the Sawmill near Warburton Avenue, you pass through about five blocks of ghetto before you get to North Broadway/Route 9. Once you get past N B’Way, the neighborhood improves.

You should take the saw mill to Executive Blvd exit and go up to North Broadway that will take you right into Hastings and you avoid the South Yonkers Ghetto. Have a good night!
