It is an event that need to happen more. The Tea Party movement itself is a glorious example of what people can do.
However actions whether true or not, perceived or actual have a bearing on what people think. And unfortunately once the bell is rung it can not be unrung.
I believe the Tea Party movement is the best thing to happen in many a decade if not a century or more. I also pray that the National GOP and Dick Armey and the rest keep their ‘bloddy mitts’ off the Movement cause they will surely bring it crashing down ... similar to the GOP meltdown.
Whatever good happens in the Primaries in Nov. 2010 will in large part (IMHO) be due to the Tea Party movement.
You are a patriot. I agree with you. My point was our bell will be rung with lies from the msm every time we do something. We just need to be careful we do not help them. Thank you for your service to our country.

Today, instead of spitting on people they disagree with, the Liberals are lying about people they hate.
Spitting just happens to be an operative word, and otherwise has nothing to do with anything.

I still believe it mars an obviously excellent getting the ideas out campaign, as well as letting Congress know that this Nation’s citizens really do care and WILL be heard.

Lying has been the hallmark of some reporters for decades and especially of political operatives for centuries. Most folks know this as they know the sun rises in the east.
Unfortunately when things like this are done, for some people ... good people with good minds (on both sides) ... it can and will overshadow the issue(s) which need to be considered and heard.
If the ‘lawmaker’ had any ethics he should come out and say this is a lie (a fabrication) and it never occurred. If names were not called, the lawmaker should come out and say it didn’t happen.
If they (the ones allegedly wronged) do not stand up with the truth it perpetuates the lie. Eventually, ‘the lie’ takes on a life of its own and the good the rally did will never be known as some will always have reservations about it.
Result: they (Libs) won! Which is all someone wanted all along.
SO show up the tactic for what it is ... political theater by unscrupulous and/or unethical individual. Hopefully the ‘lawmakers’ would stand for the truth at some point.

As I asked Kristinn on another thread - what are they trying to accomplish with this? Video has turned up with no "choruses" of any naughty words, no spitting...so what's the point of the smear? Are they trying to make excuses...for defeat?
