How did he vote last time?

He voted "No" last time. I had a 5 minute encounter with him in the hallway last Sept 12 after the big march on the Capitol. He was glad to get away after our conversation. I believe his impression of the health care bill opposition was different after our meeting. I'd like to think it had some effect on his later "No" vote.

Shuler is actually pretty moderate for a Dem. He has an ACU score of 30. It still makes him liberal, but I recall him splitting away from the Dems on several votes over the years.

Right now, I think they are going for a vote. But if they can't get the votes, maybe the Slaughterhouse thing. They should just vote instead of getting yes or no from these guys.
