Cancel the unfunded mandates. Cancel welfare. Re-invigorate the Bill of Rights. IF you still had this “cancer”, at least they’d have to work for a living. The welfare queens will just have to demand it from their own states, as ALL welfare (should there be any) must come from. The blue states will learn quickly to get their shit together.

Curious as to your gender and home state.....

You will find males and southern have seen the light - politics isn't going to work. It seems women, childeren and Yankees say, take it all back. Just checking.

The real game is DC versus Flyover Country. It does’nt come to an end until all in Flyover Country finally get it. IMHO, they are just starting to wake up

You can not restore the old republic without the willing cooperation of the millions of people who vote for marxists.

The ONLY way we are going to restore freedom is by gaining independence from not only the marxists in the fedgov but also the dumb a$$ M’er F’ers who vote for them. The ONLY way that is going to happen is through secession, we simply cannot jail or kill a significant enough percentage of them to make a difference (nor would I care to have that much blood on my hands).

INDEPENDENCE! WE WANT IT NOW!

Fidelity to the constitution has nothing to do with specific states and geographic areas. The constitution was a guard the founders put in place to protect what they fought for...

Liberty, freedom, independence... Fidelity to these principles is fidelity to the founders.

WHAT OTHER RECOURSE DO THE STATES HAVE?
The created entity of the federal government is violating, and shows NO INTENTION of honoring, the contract that created it. And what are you going to do, go to the Supreme Court? Yeah, that’s sane - go to an agent of the entity violating the contract and think you’re going to get a fair outcome.

When the states joined the union, it was with the implicit, and sometimes EXPLICIT caveat that they reserved the right to secede if the fedgov violated the conditions of joining the union.

This option was stolen away by force of arms, not by modification of the contract.

Im not sure how this response relates to what I said, or even the statement I was originally responding to.

Yes, the founders drafted the constitution that created a system of government that has long since been abandoned. The dried out shell is still there but the spirit of it is gone. Then again, what does that matter?

Perhaps I didn't make myself clear enough. The meaning of my comment was that fidelity to the constitution does not mean that we must remain within the old republic that does NOT value what the constitution was drafted to protect. If we value the principles that compelled the founders to secede from Britain, fight a war and ultimately draft the constitution to safeguard the spoils of that war (freedom, liberty, natural rights)then it doesn't matter if we are no longer bound to those people and states that refuse to honor what better men fought and died for.

We can and will elevate the the principles of limited government and natural rights without them. We can and will (with a few changes to remove ambiguity)re institute the constitution as the law of the new nation. That is holding true fidelity to the founders.

Another document worthy of holding fidelity to is the "Declaration of independence".

"When, in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the laws of nature and of nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

Let us hope that wiser heads rule—unlike what happened in 1861. Civil War is only as last option. No one whats to see American broken up to several states. See what one party and one man can do? The People have not felt the effects of his tyranny yet—they will. But, will it be too late?
Watch for this sign: When they collect the guns. When elections are canceled or fixed. When the courts are corrupted. When Free Speech is limited.
