I think it’s hopeless to try to keep track of the Rino sell outs in the GOP. Keeping track of the ones who aren’t would be a much shorter list...I can think of about half a dozen.

It seems that the current Obama cabinet member and secretary of transportation voted with the Democrats and against his own party on many occasions.

Votes by Ray LaHood

LaHood can’t run his own damn department, why is he sticking his nose into health care. Obama’s whippin’ boy.

I have always been — and still am — a fiscal conservative, an advocate for a smart, but restrained, government.

ROTFLMAO! LaHood was one of the worst pork-meister earmark consumers in the entire House, and has continued his rapacius appetite as Trannie Secretary. What a joke.

“I've been a Republican all my life....”

I've been a physician most of my adult life, and come from a blue collar family in which I was first person to ever go beyond high school. In my training I beat the pants off of those from Berkeley and the Ivies, and it quickly became clear to me that being good at something wasn't related to your pedigree. Having said that, it is absolutely clear to me, as a physician who actually has personal experience with the practice of medicine (as opposed to some self-congratulatory politician who knows little about anything except how to be a good BSer) that every national health care system in the world is inferior to the US system and that government takeover of health care in this country will have dire economic consequences.

It will have dire economic consequences not just because of the costs of providing care, but because it will deflate several of the most successful sectors in our economy - pharmaceuticals, biotech, medical device development, medical imaging, etc.. We lead the world in these areas, and other countries are investing tons of money to develop and subsidize these industries in their own nations, because they know this is a future battleground.

The pathetically small-minded people who have slithered their way into top positions in our government have, however, decided that it's more important to support industries that we have dropped the ball on (e.g. General Motors and the auto industry) instead. Pelosi talks about changing health care in the US so that people like ‘independent film makers can take risks without worrying about health care’. That is such an uninformed and pathetic statement, on so many levels, as to be embarrassing, even to someone as clueless as Pelosi.

Why Republicans Should Hold Ray LaHood's Head Underwater.

There. Fixed the title!

LaHood is just a career government hack.

The only reason he ever became a Republican is because when he launched his career, Republicans were the dominant party in his local area.

He’s got no principles, and he’s never fought for anything other than self-preservation.

Obama gave him a cushy office that comes with a sweet pension, and he gets to cut to the front of the line at the airport.

Now he gets to pay his boss back a little.

Guys like him are worse than true blue leftists.

This guy is simply a detestable pile of crap. Micheal Steele must go on the record and kick this piece of sh*t out of the party. Let’s make this a cause celebre. We do have do have principles that all Republicans must agree upon. Socialized medicine can never be acceptable to Republicans. Is socializing car companies and playing favorites in the car market OK for Republicans too?
When some say that there is no difference between Republicans and Democrats, here is a glaring example they can point to. We gave Dede Scozafava the boot, now let’s give LaHood the heave ho!

The bill that will be voted on will reduce the deficit by about $1 trillion over the next two decades, and will reduce waste, fraud and abuse in the health care system.

This is a fairy tale that even Stevie Wonder should be able to see thru. It's a clear admission we have $1 Trillion in waste, fraud and abuse that we haven't been able to fix and now they expect us to believe with the stroke of a pen we will.

I think somebody spiked Ray's Kool-Aide.

I’ll be surprised if LaHood ever seeks elective office again. I’m not for holding him under water; if he is drummed out of USDOT someone just as bad will be appointed in his place.

If I were still a member of Congress

Hey, Roy, run again saying that you'll fix Health Care. You'd lose in a LANDSLIDE. LaHood is a Soetoro boot licking LIAR.

From Illinois? Apparently thuggery, payola, and corruption do, in fact, cross party lines. There may be no honour amongst thieves, but they'll certainly cover each other's behinds.

This is the same piece of garbage who helped drive conservative Peter Fitzgerald out of the US Senate to make way for Obama.

Don’t bite the hand that feeds you, I suppose.

Any “Republican” who uses the word “comprehensive” to describe any bill, automatically loses my vote. Just a little policy I have.
