Until Obongo is out of the WH, no matter what they do, there will be no real recovery. Consumer confidence is the lowest I have ever seen in my life and they ALL mention Obongo. He’s scaring the sh*t out of people and they are hunkering down and not spending. Their mindset makes people not spend, even if they have the money to spend. Bottom line is he and his thugs are freaking people out. They don’t feel their country is safe, therefore they don’t feel safe. When he’s gone in 2012, mark my words, spending will begin again.

There's only one solution. Higher taxes and more deficit spending. /sarcasm You just know the Obama party line will be that their quick action to stablize the economy, it would be even worse. So the deficit spending will be needed even more now to further stabilize things (how do they define stabilize, anyway? Getting worse but not as quickly?) And we'll need those tax increases to pay for it all, of course.

These geniuses have figured out the formula for getting out of a hole by digging faster.

I actually had added it to my prayers just recently as I've become even more aware of how dangerous, and how dedicated to America's death, obama is.

Since reagan_fanatic asked if obama could be impeached before he did any more damage I answered with both verses. God can remove obama any way He chooses.

Seeing as in the bible God almost always killed those who fought against Him, and since David, a man after God's own heart, prayed that prayer for his enemies, then I see no problem with doing the same.

As long as obama is alive he will be working to destroy this country. I'd rather God solved the issue once and for all. (Of course obama's children are likely already infected and God will need to deal with that problem too.)

Things are very bad out there, I got laid off over a year ago, but since I was close to retirement age I decided to buy some nice garden tractors and start up a little yard care and light dirt work business rather then go looking for another job. Lol, mistake, I now have 3 very nice John Deere 318’s with nothing to do. Got a 60inch mowing deck on one and a front end loader on another and one as a spare. But like I said can’t find any work, seems lots of folks decided to make a little extra money mowing lawns too. Oh well, mice and men, but the good news is that JD318s have jut about doubled in value since I bought mine so my 5k investment is worth 10k now.

I think that modern socialists, have not paid (enough) attention to history and actually think they can make it succeed - even thought it’s failed miserabley every place it’s been tried for the past 150 years...they point to Sweden, or some such place, mebbe China, as evidence.

In our area there was a wave of private sector layoffs last year which has slowed, however with the NY going bankrupt we are now experiencing a wave of public sector layoffs.

All these people have mortgages and car payments like everyone else.

I pray the election in Nov. turns things around.

Not yet. But they’re moving toward a full-blooded capitalist economy and—thanks to The Marxist Onada and his band of angry commies—we’re moving away from it.

That said, I think Onada is done for all practical purposes. The dolt was reported today pleading to demrat Onadacare holdouts that if they don’t get health care done he will be one term president. This in the face of all credible polling showing a large majority of Americans to be against his program.

I don’t think he’ll ever get the votes he needs—even if he tries the reconciliation ploy. And this demrat Massa unloading on Raum Emanuel today only adds one more negative to stew.
