Agreed. THis seems like a crazy metaphorical story to illustrate the breakdown of our culture.
But it made me laugh at the sheer nuttiness of it all.

Yeah, I have to agree. I thought it was bad when I saw a woman almost hit a telephone pole while putting on her mascara. And there was some boxer and some woman some years back that were uhm, never mind. LOL

While riding the the passenger seat of a large pickup on the Wash beltway in VA, I happened to look down and saw a woman doing the exact same thing. Unlike the picture here that one was a real hottie. I told the driver I would keep him informed of the progress if he’d stay alongside to let me watch. The spoilsport pulled away. :-)
