Well, I have heard (per Bill O’Reilly, yesterday on FNC) that many ‘executive orders’ that were viable in the 70’s and 80’s are no longer able to be put in force. I just want to do a little checking, here on this one..........tha’s all, Mr. or Ms. Whenifhow.

Hope you are having a nice evening.

Please do, yorkie and thank you. I think I recently heard that the EO mentioned was signed by JFK and rescinded by Nixon. In any case; bring it! As Wyatt Earp said to the punk card dealer in Tombstone ... “Pull that smoke wagon and see what happens!”

The armed US population is the largest militia force on planet earth. Because our people are so well-armed, no country has ever dared to invade us (in any meaningful way).

90 million US gun owners will not go down without a fight. No foreign aggressor would ever be foolish enough to attempt a land invasion of this country, and the American people will never let a domestic aggressor enslave them, either.

keep buying the total ammo production of the US of A!!! + -

This makes us the largest land army on earth,,,

How many of O’Bammy’s Mau Mau squads will fight to the

death for their homes ?,,,

You forgot to add the 25 Chinese combat divisions hiding in the Texas sagebrush. And there’s all the Russian tanks on flatbed railroad cars stored in Montana. Don’t forget the vego-matic guillotines hidden in every townhall basement that will slice and dice 100 million Americans.

People with too much time on their hands are dusting off the old Clinton stories from back in the 1990s.

We have real threats to confront, and the fat bureaucrats at Interpol isn’t one of them. Nor are the stupid bed-wetters in high school a threat. They will fight to the death their right to sit in front of a screen and play games.

SEC. 2. ESTABLISHMENT OF NATIONAL EMERGENCY CENTERS.

(a) IN GENERAL.—In accordance with the requirements of this Act, the Secretary of Homeland Security shall establish not fewer than 6 national emergency centers on military installations.

(b) PURPOSE OF NATIONAL EMERGENCY CENTERS.—The purpose of a national emergency center shall be to use existing infrastructure -——

(4) to meet other appropriate needs, as determined by the Secretary of Homeland Security.

SEC. 3. DESIGNATION OF MILITARY INSTALLATIONS AS NATIONAL EMERGENCY CENTERS.

(e) TRANSFER OF CONTROL OF CLOSED MILITARY INSTALLATIONS.—If a closed military installation is designated as a national emergency center, not later than 180 days after the date of designation, the Secretary of Defense shall transfer to the Secretary of Homeland Security administrative jurisdiction over such closed military installation.

SEC. 6. DEFINITIONS.

In this Act, the following definitions apply:

(2) EMERGENCY.—The term ‘‘emergency’’ has the meaning given such term in section 102 of the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act (42 U.S.C. 5122).

(3) MAJOR DISASTER.—The term ‘‘major disaster’’ has the meaning given such term in section102 of the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act (42 U.S.C. 5122).

Sec 102 of 42 U.S.C. 5122 in which H.R. 645 can apply:

DEFINITIONS

(42 U.S.C. 5122) SEC. 102. As used in this Act—

(1) EMERGENCY.—‘‘Emergency’’ means any occasion or instance for which, in the determination of the President, Federal assistance is needed to supplement State and local efforts and capabilities to save lives and to protect property and public health and safety, or to lessen or avert the threat of a catastrophe in any part of the United States.

(2) MAJOR DISASTER.—‘‘Major disaster’’ means any natural catastrophe (including any hurricane, tornado, storm, high water, winddriven water, tidal wave, tsunami, earthquake, volcanic eruption, landslide, mudslide, snowstorm, or drought), or, regardless of cause, any fire, flood, or explosion, in any part of the United States, which in the determination of the President causes damage of sufficient severity and magnitude to warrant major disaster assistance under this Act to supplement the efforts and available resources of States, local governments, and disaster relief organizations in alleviating the damage, loss, hardship, or suffering caused thereby.

DoD Directive 1404.10: “DoD Civilian Expeditionary Workforce” dated Jan 23, 2009:

4. POLICY. It is Department of Defense (DoD) policy to:

a. Rely on a mix of capable military members and DoD civilian employees to meet DoD global national security mission requirements. DoD civilian employees are an integral part of the Total Force. They serve in a variety of positions, provide essential capabilities and, where appropriate for civilians to do so, support mission requirements such as combat, contingencies, emergency operations; humanitarian and civic assistance activities; disaster relief; restoration of order; drug interdiction; and stability operations of the Department of Defense, herein collectively referred to as “expeditionary requirements.”

b. Identify a subset of the DoD civilian workforce as the DoD Civilian Expeditionary Workforce. These civilian employees are organized, ready, trained, cleared, and equipped in a manner that enhances their availability to mobilize and respond urgently to expeditionary requirements.

c. Integrate DoD civilian workforce capabilities into DoD Total Force planning processes.

(The 1992 directive mentions the term “overseas” no fewer than 33 times. The 2009 directive does not mention the term “overseas” even once.)

H.R. 1388: “Serve America Act” introduced Mar 9, 2009; signed into law Apr 21, 2009:

Subtitle E—Amendments to Subtitle E (National Civilian Community Corps)

‘‘SEC. 151. PURPOSE.

‘‘It is the purpose of this subtitle to authorize the operation of, and support for, residential and other service programs that combine the best practices of civilian service with the best aspects of military service, including leadership and team building, to meet national and community needs. The needs to be met under such programs include those needs related to—

‘(1) natural and other disasters”

“(V) by inserting after clause (iii) the following:

‘(iv) give consideration to retired and other former law enforcement, fire, rescue, and emergency personnel, and other individuals with backgrounds in disaster preparedness, relief, and recovery”

“(b) TECHNICAL AMENDMENTS.—Section 162 (42 U.S.C. 12622) —

1. in the section heading, by striking ‘‘OTHER DEPARTMENTS’’ and inserting ‘‘DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE’’

SEC. 1503. ELIGIBLE PARTICIPANTS (for National Civilian Community Corps)…

‘‘(1) is, or will be, at least 18 years of age on or before December 31 of the calendar year in which the individual enrolls in the program, but is not more than 24 years of age as of the date the individual begins participating in the program; and’’

‘‘SEC. 132A. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES AND INELIGIBLE ORGANIZATIONS.

(7) Engaging in religious instruction, conducting worship services, providing instruction as part of a program that includes mandatory religious instruction or worship, constructing or operating facilities devoted to religious instruction or worship, maintaining facilities primarily or inherently devoted to religious instruction or worship, or engaging in any form of proselytization, consistent with section 132.”

DHS Report: “Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment” dated Apr 7, 2009

Scope: The information is provided to federal, state, local, and tribal counterterrorism and law enforcement officials so they may effectively deter, prevent, preempt, or respond to terrorist attacks against the United States.

“The possible passage of new restrictions on firearms and the return of military veterans facing significant challenges reintegrating into their communities could lead to the potential emergence of terrorist groups or lone wolf extremists capable of carrying out violent attacks.”

“Rightwing extremism in the United States can be broadly divided into those groups, movements, and adherents that are primarily hate-oriented (based on hatred of particular religious, racial or ethnic groups), and those that are mainly antigovernment, rejecting federal authority in favor of state or local authority, or rejecting government authority entirely. It may include groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration.”

(and that’s just the first 2 pages!)

RAND Report Conclusions dated 2009

“The Military Police option was attractive for a number of reasons, especially its capacity, training, and logistical capabilities, but its inability to engage in policing activities when not deployed (overseas) was a major stumbling block.”

“The Posse Comitatus Act precludes military personnel from exercising police functions in a civilian setting (on US soil against Americans), and legislative relief might be difficult to get.”

“Even if such relief were forthcoming, it is unclear where and how routine police skills might be honed.”

“Creation of a civilian Stability Police Force would not affect the roles that other elements of the U.S. government would play.”

“Rather, it would complement other agencies such as the departments of Defense and State. But the SPF would provide a necessary capability, and the U.S. Army should support its creation.”

Executive Order — Amending Executive Order 12425

EXECUTIVE ORDER
- - - - - - -
AMENDING EXECUTIVE ORDER 12425 DESIGNATING INTERPOL
AS A PUBLIC INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION ENTITLED TO
ENJOY CERTAIN PRIVILEGES, EXEMPTIONS, AND IMMUNITIES

By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, including section 1 of the International Organizations Immunities Act (22 U.S.C. 288), and in order to extend the appropriate privileges, exemptions, and immunities to the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL), it is hereby ordered that Executive Order 12425 of June 16, 1983, as amended, is further amended by deleting from the first sentence the words “except those provided by Section 2©, Section 3, Section 4, Section 5, and Section 6 of that Act” and the semicolon that immediately precedes them.

Section 2c of the United States International Organizations Immunities Act:

“Property and assets of international organizations, wherever located and by whomsoever held, shall be immune from search, unless such immunity be expressly waived, and from confiscation. The archives of international organizations shall be inviolable.”

Inviolable archives means INTERPOL records are beyond US citizens’ Freedom of Information Act requests and from American legal or investigative discovery (”unless such immunity be expressly waived.”)

Property and assets being immune from search and confiscation means precisely that… wherever they may be in the United States. This could conceivably include human assets - Americans arrested on our soil by INTERPOL officers, or even International Forces operating on our soil.

Executive Order 13524 of December 16, 2009

Amending Executive Order 12425 Designating Interpol as a Public International Organization Entitled To Enjoy Certain Privileges, Exemptions, and Immunities

Executive Order 13528 of January 11, 2010

Establishment of the Council of Governors

“to strengthen further the partnership between the Federal Government and State governments… The Council shall consist of 10 State Governors appointed by the President”…

Sec. 2. Functions. The Council shall meet at the call of the Secretary of Defense or the Co-Chairs of the Council to exchange views… Such views, information, or advice shall concern:

(a) matters involving the National Guard of the various States;

(b) homeland defense;

(c) civil support;

(d) synchronization and integration of State and Federal military activities in the United States; and

(e) other matters of mutual interest pertaining to National Guard, homeland defense, and civil support activities.”

"At what point shall we expect the approach of danger? By what means shall we fortify against it? Shall we expect some transatlantic military giant, to step the Ocean, and crush us at a blow? Never! All the armies of Europe, Asia and Africa combined, with all the treasure of the earth (our own excepted) in their military chest; with a Buonaparte for a commander, could not by force, take a drink from the Ohio, or make a track on the Blue Ridge, in a trial of a thousand years. At what point, then, is the approach of danger to be expected? I answer, if it ever reach us it must spring up amongst us. It cannot come from abroad. If destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of freemen, we must live through all time, or die by suicide."

A bunch of scary looking plans by would-be tyrants do not frighten me, as long as I’m a citizen of a nation that has 90 million gun owners in it, holding an estimated 320 million firearms.

I’m even less afraid, because I know that if push comes to shove, my fellow citizens will do what’s necessary to protect themselves and their neighbors from harm.

Just because we have guns now, does not mean that they cannot 0r will not attempt to take them.

When the populace is disarmed, (and don’t think it cannot happen) there will be no one to stand in their way.

As retired military, and I actually hate to admit this...

I saw three Apache attack helicopters fly over my house last week, and for the first time in my life, I didn’t know whether to cheer, or to pray.

I do not like the way I felt, and still feel.

I don’t like what is happening to the Country that every generation of my family has fought to protect.

We have served proudly in Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, Merchant Marines...

No, I don’t like what is happening in our Country.

Just because we have guns now, does not mean that they cannot 0r will not attempt to take them.

Friend, to believe that our government can disarm 90 million citizens, you have to believe that nearly all of them will willingly, and docilely give up their guns.

Not.

If this were Great Britain, you'd be right about that. Those people did that very thing when their government banned all personal firearms.

But, this isn't Great Britain. Those people never had an absolute right to keep and bear arms encoded into their nation's fundamental charter. Our right to keep and bear arms is written into our Founding Document, the Constitution. Americans are not going to simply allow our government to abolish the 2nd Amendment without a fight.

If our government were capable of taking our guns, it would have already happened a long, long time ago. The Marxists have been angling to take over this country for at least a century, and would have done so, if the 2nd Amendment weren't standing in the way.

Read some of the recent news about 2nd Amendment issues. Gains to better secure our gun rights have been steady and ongoing for a good while now, and the trend shows no sign of slowing down.

By the way, thank you for service, and for that of your family.
