Imperialism is such a dirty word these days (after hearing leftists sneer it at us for decades). But leaving Iran to its own tribal devices is more trouble than it’s worth. A nice, orderly takeover seems in order - let’s just not bungle it this time, please?

Iran is the most pro-western country in the middle east, by far.

And if Iran had nukes and was dumb enough to use them, it is way more likely that they would use them against Saudi Arabia or Iraq than any other country over there.

Any other countries whining and moaning to the contrary.

They fear the IAF. They fear the Saudi Air Force and the Qatari Air Force and perhaps even the US Navy. All their neighbors are in agreement.....the mullahs must go. No nukes for the Mullahs

Might the regime be deliberately provoking a foreign strike? ... The regime may hope that a foreign air raid will rally a disaffected population.Nope. Why would you risk your existence to get your people to rally behind you? I sometimes think their arrogance indicates they already have a weapon.I wonder ,too if our intelligence people and Israel's intelligence people don't know more than they are telling? Just thinkin'
