"We're going to start over, we're going to scrap this bill and we're going to lower health care premiums for all Americans"

WRONG! I Don't want the government 'lowering health care premiums'- the ONLY thin the governbment can do is get the hell out of the way and it will fix itself- All they can do is make things worse if they try to legislate lower premiums.

His offices are closed in DC due to weather !

Like I Said Fox has just as many lefties in the news room as MSDNC and CNN !

They will get Repubs to compose a framework for reform and then slap a big ole public option on the bill.

I feel unsteady, like I'm fixing to be rolled.

The FIRST thing is stop fraud--talking hasn't done it yet. Second--tort reform to stop the frivolous law suits. Quit just paying off to avoid an expensive trial and start making the suers pay costs when they have no case.Third (and maybe first)--sell ins. where you want to buy it, across state lines, etc.

Quit spending trillions and yet expecting doctors to accept 20% more pay cuts. Medicare pays them next to nothing, now.vaudine

" The Democrats have to be willing to meet the GOP half way. So far, they haven't done it. "

WRONG- half way towards socialism is 100% wrong way

Caller on Rush suggested the Pubs respond that they’ll be glad to meet with Obama to discuss getting the country back on track economically, (because he obviously has no idea how to go about doing that) but will not discuss health care until the President shows his committment to jobs/economy/growth and then only in the context of scrapping this current bill and starting over from scratch.

The pubs won’t do it I fear, but it’s a great idea.

This is going to be like walking into a field of landmines - party of no is the BO goal. Republicans can easily screw up the mid-term election - that is what this is all about, not reaching a compromise when even the democrats can’t even compromise on this issue with two very different bills pending. Democrats should work out their differences first.

The Republican leadership should publicly request that Obama provide them with his plan for health care reform so that they may review it so that they can make suggestions for changes. They should explain that the house and senate plans are too flawed to be considered even by democrats so Obama needs to provide them with his plan.
