Living in Massachusetts, I always used to love having a Republican neighbor to the north. When Massachusetts passes some new tax (look, there’s another one) you could always run across the state line to avoid it.

Now the Liberal Disease has apparently afflicted the good people of New Hampshire. Sad. They used to be so conservative and sensible.

New Hampshire should form its own in-state Border Patrol and close the state line.

Live Free Or ... oops ... never mind.

There can be one and only one reason they are going ballistic over this ruling and that is because it is a road block in their attempt to become an oligarchy.

U.S. Rep. Paul Hodes, D-N.H., said yesterday he intends to introduce a proposed constitutional amendment to overturn a controversial U.S. Supreme Court decision last week that removed corporate and other special interest campaign spending limits. ... The National Republican Senatorial Committee called Hodes' plan hypocritical.

Hypocritical or not, at least he *seems to understand* the Constitution(1). That's something we can't say about his party leadership, or that squatter whose currently occupying 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

(1) though having to 'consult with constitutional scholars' makes me chuckle. The 1st Amendment seems pretty clear to me.
