Sedona is a different story than Flagstaff, Flagg is very liberal and full of old hippies... Sedona is a mix and the Prescott area seems to lean more conservative.

You wouldn’t believe the radio ads McCain is running here in Prescott. So much drama and spin, like he is the only one standing up to the lefties in DC. Barf. I really hope he gets crushed in the election.

After reading this article, it’s gonna take a miracle to unseat McCain.
I despise gambling and the hold it has.

If McCain owns the gambling contingency, how in the world can that be overcome? How on earth can Hayworth possibly surpass the mesmerism of gambling? Is that what this race boils down to?

You are most welcome. Please feel free to use it, the blog is mine. Links to all references are there. It’s all documented information. The site is also searchable and there’s more John McCain info I’ve posted over the years than you’ll ever want to know.

I'm greatly afraid that you are quite correct. Although it is more than I want to know, it is probably not more than everyone should know! Thanks again, Aunt B.

I can imagine. McCain supporters bringing up Abramoff is quite telling. J.D. got a total $2, 250 from Abramoff.

McCain, just this last cycle got from his lobbyist/friend Scott Reed (This is above any money coming out of the Indian tribes by way of Reed):

$-2,300 06/30/2008 G JOHN MCCAIN 2008
$-2,300 03/31/2008 G JOHN MCCAIN
$2,300 02/14/2008 G JOHN MCCAIN
$-2,300 04/20/2007 P JOHN MCCAIN
$4,600 03/31/2007 P JOHN MCCAIN

Do the libs still vacate Flagstaff every year during the Indian Festival? (Because they can’t stand seeing them all over town...)

Ping!

“The visit had been arranged by the lobbyist, Scott Reed, who works for the Mashantucket Pequots, a tribe that has contributed heavily to McCain’s campaigns and built Foxwoods into the world’s second-largest casino. Joining them was Rick Davis, McCain’s campaign manager. Their night of good fortune epitomized not just McCain’s affection for gambling, but also the close relationship he has built with the gambling industry and its lobbyists during his 25-year career in Congress.”

As I am an American Indian I know a little bit about the political views of tribes. Let me say that any politician that the tribes are for, should not be voted for by any moderate or conservative.

I hear you, fish hawk. And McCain is their boy, bought and paid for.

Until gambling is no longer supported, there is no hope for McCain opposition. Would you agree?

Not that I know of... when you go there it is a combo of NAU students, libs, people from down in the valley with summer homes in Flagg as well as a healthy sprinkling of tourists.
