Shoe Bomber Case Resurfaces, Fuels National Security Debate

Five months ago, British shoe bomber Richard Reid, who is serving a life sentence for his failed attempt in 2001 to blow up a trans-Atlantic airliner, was moved out of the isolation wing at the Supermax prison in Colorado -- prompting some conservative lawmakers to suggest that the Obama administration is making it possible for the self-proclaimed Al Qaeda terrorist to radicalize his fellow prisoners.

Critics said the move was part of what they say is a troubling pattern in the administration to treat terrorists with kid gloves.

"This decision is another product of the Obama administration's alarming effort to treat terrorist killers like everyday common criminals," said Stephen Miller, a spokesman for Alabama Sen. Jeff Sessions, the top Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee and a strong critic of the president's national security policies.

"It raises troubling questions about how terrorists like Khalid Sheikh Mohammed will be treated once they too enter our civilian justice system," he said. "As Sen. Sessions has said, the Obama administration is returning America to the law enforcement approach that failed us on 9/11."

But a Justice Department scoffed at that notion, calling it "absolute nonsense

They’re right, sometime, somewhere, some place here is going to be hit(or hopefully just attempted), by some ex-con that got radicalized right here in the good ‘ol U. S. of A.

Today at a Tampa Town Hall,Obama made a joke that ‘bombed’(pun intended).

He was trying to say something positive about high speed rail vs.other ways to travel and he quipped: “You won’t have to take your shoes off”. The audience didn’t react with a laugh so he added....”No one will know if you have a hole in your socks.”

Can you imagine the outcry if GWB had make a joke alluding to the terrorist shoe bomber? The media would have gone bonkers...but they protect Obama.

Let us hope a majority of American voters are slowly becoming a bit informed via. Fox and the neutral and conservative Internet news sites and blog sites. We have three more years of a designed wrecking ball administration to attempt to royally screw up America beyond repair.
As far as I am concerned the very mention by zero he rather be a single term POTUS but a good one(? what a laugh), indicates he has sent out signals to those that want to further wreck this nation, that he will stay on course to that effect. In other words, do as much damage as he and his circus group can render then exit the scene. Mission accomplished. Screw America on a potential permanent level.
