Hidden Document Clears Hounded Kansas AG

In the same week that the state of Kansas was trying the admitted killer of late-term abortionist George Tiller, its judicial establishment was continuing to hound the man who almost brought Tiller to justice, former attorney general Phill Kline.

The January 19th lead in the Kansas City Star captures the giddy spirit of the hounding, “Phill Kline disobeyed the Kansas Supreme Court, misled judges and withheld information from a grand jury, according to an ethics complaint made public Tuesday.”

The state Supreme Court has been hectoring Kline for years. One earlier sanction was so gratuitous that it prompted the Court’s chief justice, Kay McFarland, to publicly scold her colleagues.

McFarland chastised the court majority for using the sanction to “denigrate Kline for actions that it cannot find to have been in violation of any law and to heap scorn upon him for his attitude and behavior that does not rise to the level of contempt."

Not surprisingly, the Kansas City Star failed to notice McFarland’s comments. It cheerfully headlined the sanction, “ Phill Kline gets smacked around by the Kansas Supreme Court.”

Interesting. My criminal law professor was just talking about Kline the other day. Guess Kline is a visiting law professor at Liberty Univ. law school now from what he told us. My professor told us how Kline tried to look into the abortion industry in KS and look at Tiller and his practices and how he was drummed out for it. My professor was commenting on the fact and trying to put the situation into a bigger context that there’s other law schools trying to bring back Judeo-Christian values into the practice of law (in addition to the one I attend) and was talking about Kline as an example.

Cashill did another story on Kline and how Tiller would still be alive today if our Secretary of Health & Human Services would had enforced the laws of Kansas. Sebelius is a CINO (Catholic in Name Only) who was rewarded for her abortion support.
