Don’t worry about “his parents.” His name says it all - merely following in daddy’s footsteps.
Okay, even before I read this little snippet, I wasn't quite ready to execute the kid, since I wondered what sort of environment he'd been raised in. But now I *really* want to know if the parents have been brought up on criminal charges or child neglect charges or something of that sort. What kind of 13-year-old kid attacks and rapes a woman on the street, steals her phone, and promptly uses it to call his parents at home??? How did that conversation go? Most phones have caller ID these days -- did the parents not think it odd that their 13 year old was calling from a number they'd never seen before? Inquiring minds want to know WHERE THE HE11 HAVE THESE PARENTS BEEN AND WHAT HAVE THEY BEEN DOING FOR THE PAST 13 YEARS? Sometimes a kid is just totally rebellious and parents can't control him/her at all, but those sorts of kids aren't big on phoning home to mom and dad.
