I was driving through town today (I live in mid-Missouri) and I saw a truck with a very official looking “Romney 2012” sticker in the back window...needless to say I was like “WTF?”

...He said he was for everything conservatives...

:).... don't you hate it?... I think he has been "for everything" under the sun!... he is nothing but just a nice poster... too much money guess

And there lies another difference... Brown said the things a politician should NEVER say in MA!... But he said them... and look what happened.

It gives me hope, that regardless of our political affiliation, we the people, are not as dumb as they think we are. We, the regular Joes, are waking up.. so watch out! :)

If this is true, I am HUGELY disappointed. I didn't volunteer my time for a Mitt, Jr.

One theory that I read presented that with McCain/Feingold being (mostly) struck down, this will make it easier for Mittens to buy the GOP nomination.

I hope not. God, I hope not.

Stupid Boston Herald journalist seems ignorant of the Twelfth Amendment: the President and Vice President may not come from the same state. The problem is solved of course if Mitt Romney relocates elsewhere between now and 2012.

NO WAY! Mitt needs to retire so he can spend more time at home with his hair!

Not constitutional. The Presidential and Vice Presidential candidates must be from different states.

It's not unconstitutional, but under Amendment XII the electors from Massachusetts couldn't vote for both Romney and Brown. The electors of every other state would not have a problem. No party with any sense would risk shooting themselves in the foot like this, winning a state and then not being able to have the electors vote for both its candidates. Of course we're talking about the Republicans...

Palin-GOP-backstabber Chronic flip-flopper:
"I am here to take credit for Sen. Brown's win.
OK, so it is before he actually wins, because frankly I need the camera time.
And I need a win, any win, any win at all.

A major metropolitan daily actually publishes the drivel from this chickified metrosexual doofus? Unbelievable.

First, the President and Vice President have to come from different States. So, this entire speculation, besides being wildly pre-mature is totally irrelevant.

Second, check this out: "He, like President Obama, is surrounded by three strong women at home." Ah, how old are Obama's daughters? Now, they are "strong women". Brown raised his daughters to be hard-working, successful and to use their god-given talents. A Father with young adult women, doesn't count as being surrounded by "strong women". He raised them, dummy. His character was set before his daughters were born and his character was NOT formed by "three strong women".

What a friggin' Eunuch!!

From the article: "Did Romney use this race as a dry run for the strategy he may choose to employ in the event he runs for the White House in 2012?"?

Answer: Mitt is busy looking for a candidate to use as a stalking horse since he knows he can't win on his own lack of credentials.

Missouri figured prominently in the early days of the mormon church.

The Prophet Joseph Smith has revealed that "the place called Independence, Jackson County, Missouri, [will be] the center place of the kingdom of God on the western hemisphere. A city called Zion or the New Jerusalem would there be built. There also, the foremost temple to the Lord should be erected. From the temple in Zion the law of the Lord would issue, as the word of the Lord would come from Jerusalem." John A. Widtsoe, Evidences and Reconciliations, p. 395 (citing D. & C. 57:1-3; Isaiah 2:3; Micah 4:2; History of the Church, 1:188).) Subsequent prophets close to Joseph Smith, including Brigham Young and Heber C. Kimball, have further revealed that Independence, Missouri, is the location of the Garden of Eden. John A. Widtsoe, Evidences and Reconciliations, p. 396:

"Adam-ondi-Ahman (near Spring Hill, MO) is the site of a future grand council where Jesus Christ will meet with His stewards of all dispensations and receive back the keys of the kingdom in preparation for His Second Coming. Only those called to the meeting will know of its occurence."

What? Show me.

Amendment 12

The Electors shall meet in their respective states, and vote by ballot for President and Vice-President, one of whom, at least, shall not be an inhabitant of the same state with themselves; they shall name in their ballots the person voted for as President, and in distinct ballots the person voted for as Vice-President, and they shall make distinct lists of all persons voted for as President, and of all persons voted for as Vice-President and of the number of votes for each, which lists they shall sign and certify, and transmit sealed to the seat of the government of the United States, directed to the President of the Senate;..............

The home state electors would not be allowed to vote for both the presidential and vice presidential from their same state. In a close election, that could throw the VP race to the senate to decide. In practical terms since the development political parties with tickets containing candidates for both offices, it means that both candidates must be from different states.

Romney/Brown 2012?

Nobody that follows politics even a little bit is going to vote for two "Pro Choice" Republicans at the top of the ticket. This guy is dreaming!
