Democrats have been waiting anxiously to see whether the vice-presidents son, Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden, would run against Rep. Mike Castle for the states open Senate seat something that once seemed like a foregone conclusion.
Without Beau in the race, Republicans hold a clear advantage in taking over Joe Bidens old Senate seat.
Now the vice-president is expressing serious doubt that his son will pursue a Senate campaign, in an interview with the Wilmington News-Journal:
Biden: "If you run into Beau, talk him into running; he respects you."
Q: "I don't think he wants to run, though."
Biden: "I don't think he does either. I know he doesn't want to. ... I'm so proud of the job he's done [as attorney general]."

“Beau....” Might as well be “Frenchy.”
I know Castle is a rino, but compared to Bidens son? I’ll take it.
Scott Brown is scaring potential Dem candidates into remaining on the sidelines.
ENOUGH of the family dynasty stuff.
It’s not a Biden seat, not a democrat seat, it’s the people’s seat.
Citizen legislators.
Biden’s office is backtracking now. has issued a partial “transcript” and claim to have a audio recording.
Not a RINO, but a DIABLO: Democrat In All But Label Only. If Castle, Kirk (ILL) or Simmons (CT) get elected, we may long for the days when Specter and Jeffords were the GOP’s biggest fifth-columnists.
You don’t suppose Beau won’t go because he knows that he’d get the sh!t kicked out of him, since everyone’s gotten such a good luck now at his idiot father, and his idot father’s boss, Obama?
SOGB
Son Of Gaffemaster B! The Little Gaffer! A Gaffe and A Half.!
RINO
If he has his father’s gift of gaffe, he’s best advised to stay out.
I agree. Brown’s victory along with the results in New Jersey and Virginia make it a scary environment for Democrats. Beau Biden can run for re-election as Attorney General of Delaware and wait until Castle retires after one or two terms at the most. Incumbent Democrats in federal offices don’t have a similar luxury. Delaware is all but guaranteed to flip now, giving the Republicans two solid pick-ups along with John Hoeven in North Dakota.
To be honest...I think Beau’s intention is the governor’s seat....and hold that for eight years before making the run.
Beau’s last name will be the kiss of death and he probably knows it!!
Ah! Thank you for your keen observance.
Oh PLEASE!!! Beau....BEAU BIDEN thought he would be CROWNED Senator!!!!! Bye bye Beau.
OMG!!! They write THEMSELVES!!! How EMBARRASSING!!
