I agree that I would prefer that she stay out of the primary races completely. I can't do much to change what AZ does any way, so I figure I can sit back and see what happens.

For my money the primary contests should be strictly an in-state thing.

So much will change between now and even this year's election day. Could well be that by then we'll all be looking back and wondering how we could have felt the way we do today.

Good post.

Palin also announced she’ll be campaigning for/with Michelle Bachmann. Does that mean Bachmann is now a RINO too (by too few degrees of separation from McCain)?

I can’t believe that there are Freepers who do not understand that Palin would feel a debt of gratitude to McCain. Oh, well. I’d try explaining the 85 percent rule that even conservatives in politics abide but what’s the point.

Maybe Sarah is just showing that she has more class than most of the folks who worked on McCain’s campaign. His choice of her for his VP candidate brought her to the national stage. I, for one, am glad she’s being gracious to him.

Actually a good thing. It makes Schmidt look like the jerk he is for bad mouthing her and it confuses the heck out of the MSM. Catches them off guard and makes them fumble. Part of her going Rogue strategy.

Oh, boy they’re sharpening their knives on this one. If Sarah refused to campaign for McCain she’d get stabbed down the road with ‘Ms. Palin ran as John McCain’s vice presidential choice, but refused to campaign for him in 2010. Ms. Palin, did you not believe the things you said about Senator McCain during his presidential bid? Were you lying to the American people?’

Get it, ya’ll? Sheesh.

People who don’t live in Arizona, like many of the commentators here, have no clue the damage McCain has done to our state. His elitist fabrications and ridiculous claims of not being able to find people to pick lettuce for $50/hr, his staff’s lies and insubordination to us, their employers, his never-ending pursuit of the destruction of our nation through amnesty.

And Palin’s been parroting his lies about “pathway to citizenship” and that it doesn’t mean amnesty, but I still somehow thought there was hope for her, and that he had just been a bad influence. After all, how many daily roll-overs of illegal aliens do they have up in Alaska? How many emergency rooms have they lost?

Well, no longer am I fooled by her...

Oh Look! Yet another Palin bashing thread. What is this, #26 on the day???

FR is fast becoming a hate Palin and Brown site by the looks of the threads today. I'm astounded...

Oh, for crying out loud.

He nominated her as his VP running mate, propelling her to international fame, and now she is showing her appreciation.

That’s called “class”.

Ditto, BQ! I agree wholeheartedly. If Sarah Palin really wanted to advance politically, she would have been wise to leave McLettuce behind, and proceed on her own merits. I am disappointed in her - totally.

Hayworth was specifically targeted by the Dems. They were able to pump up the vote at ASU with all of the out-of-state commie college students.

Hayworth would do very well in a state wide election.

Battered wife syndrome? Yes he picked her. But then he let his adviers ravage her, embarrass her, lie about her, blame her for 3 months of hell. What’s to be loyal about?

I’m very sad that she sold out or something odd... and am taking down her photos from my home office, and putting her book away. I had been hearing rumors and seeing things about her amnesty stance, but this is the final straw.

McLettuce, lol, is pretending to be a conservative now, Brown even spam-called us praising McC today... McC’s ads are ridiculous just because we know what he REALLY is...

Problem is a true Conservative JD Hayworth is hanging in the balance. I wish Sarah hadn’t inserted herself into AZ politics like that. Why not do this IF McCain won the primary??

Agree with you.

It would be hard for Sarah not to campaign with McCain without appearing that there is a split in the party.

Folks could still go to a McCain rally to see Sarah, cheer wildly for her, and head for the exits when McCain takes the podium. If they won’t let folks leave, they can remain politely silent. Anyone asks, they can say, “I came to see Sarah. That’s it.”

Win-win-win for everyone: We see Sarah and cheer for her. Palin keeps a promise. And McCain gets a crowd.

Agreed, the pettiness of this board is getting a little out of hand.

She simply is returning a gesture of good will. Were i not for McCain we would not have Sarah.

If we did not have Sarah, we might have Obamacare since her Deathpanels posting on facebook got the ball rolling to defeat this thing.

I cant believe people are upset w her over this.

There is no other reasonable option for Palin. She can’t very well not campaign for him after campaigning with him.
