Those in power are there to serve God’s purpose. President Bush clearly understood his purpose and never wavered from it. And that is what sets him apart. He knew he was a servant and so he served with honor.

Obama too serves God’s purpose though he does not know it.

Since obama has been in office they no longer keep count, they no longer have protests or hold news conferences....

IMO, Bush was gracious to a fault. He did very little to defend himself and his decisions from the most horrible attacks from the left. He had the bully pulpit and refused to use it which only enabled the lies from the left to become truth in the minds of many Americans.

Pres. Bush was a remarkable President.

In the WOT he was God's blessing for our country. I'm not sure who could have done a better job as CIC for those 8 years.

As far as domestic policy, our country thrived under Bush despite the slam on 9/11; we had consistent growth. I'm convinced the crash was due to the Dems and MSM shifting their 24/7 coverage from the WOT to 24/7 coverage on the "horrific" economy once the Dems grabbed Congress in '07. People were already nervous and the Dems drove down the economy well below where it should have gone, taking advantage to get their socialist into office.

Glad some liberals are seeing the light.

While I agree w/ the article regarding Bush, I question the motives of the writer. Underlying theme: Bush was right and since Obama is doing what Bush did, Obama is right. I will wait for the rest of the story; in the meantime, feel free to call me a skeptic.

No, I don’t think America Betrayed him, so much as the left.

Clever deception by the kerryite; try to assign the guilt to everyone, so the left is less culpable of their @sshattery.

For all his flaws, I don’t recall anyone here calling W a chimp; but I do remember the theater of the absurd that the left played out over and over again. (For the record, I liked him except when he was spendy).

I think its also a way to defuse criticism of the obombunist. By copping to the excesses of the left; the hope to defuse the accurate criticisms of the “one”, by, well, almost everyone.
