They will never leave. Obama will eventually want your 401 K or IRA to pay for them. He is already talking about it. And when he carries FL in 2012 thanks to the Haitians - he will be President for life or his last 4 years will destroy this country. I am amazed at some people on FR.
It is called destroying the US. The temp protected status brought MS 13 into America from Central America which controls much of the drug trade.
Reading this story means that Scott Brown’s win tonight is meaningless. Obama will destroy America and bleeding hearts even here are cheering it on.

How so? Was it due to category 5 Hurricane Mitch in Honduras in 1998? The destruction from Mitch was absolutely otherworldly. The entire country’s infrastructure was destroyed and tens of thousands died. It was Katrina, except where Katrina rushed through, Mitch stalled. Mitch dumped 36 inches of rain, with some locations receiving as much as 75 inches of rainfall! Mitch basically destroyed the country. I can see why a similar initiative to the topic of this thread would have been implemented in the aftermath of Mitch. You’ve definitely given me some food for thought.
Don’t worry - they will destroy your country sooner than you think. MS13 from Central America now controls the drug trade and probably OWNS a lot of politicians in this country. Drugs are a $500 billion business or more. They can buy as many politicians as the Saudis. You will pay for it too. Have any IRAs or 401Ks? Obama will get them.
The left did this to England with compassion and muslim “asylum seekers.” The upper middle class english are fleeing to Spain and other places.

How about sending some materials, along with them, to Haiti as jobs saved or created... rescuing, cleaning and rebuilding their country? Maybe after that, no red dictator or corrupt prez can run the country.
I remember when Jesse grabbed all the illegals in the Northeast on his bus routes to New Orleans (though it was touted as taking Katrina residents, now displaced, back home), as they got gigs rebuilding and Houston got residents that upped crime and burdened the state coffers on aid to families.
If the residents (who knew trades, at least), had the materials and funds, instead of pre-paid cards and trailers for years, it would’ve been different. They would have had more pride in NO and more respect for their city.
My family, though they lost their homes, got the heck out, settled their claims, grabbed up the lesser fortunate relatives, headed to Miss., Texas, TN and up north; All got jobs, got apartments or the next homes in record time. They didn’t have their hands out four years after the fact... or even right after the fact. (yes, the less fortunates got the heck out quick to get a gig)
No slam on anyone else, just how we were raised.
Those people have been through hell and don’t know any life outside of their past, present commie leaders (who’s never there when they need them). It just sucks that money has been sent for years and it never gets to the people. Makes me think, why even try.
I’m all for treating, feeding, even taking down the ruins after search and rescue, but where is THEIR gov’t? BTW, we’re not doing too well here... even though it’s thousands of times better than PAP right now. The MSM acts as if the whole side of their island is in the sea and no where else in Haiti is available or functioning. I know it’s a huge amount of people, but what else am I missing?
If all the best Haitians end up in America, who is left to help Haiti?

And what of those Haitians who can’t work or can not find work, are too old to work, too young to work...will they be eligible for a full array of Federal and State benefits? What about housing? I don’t know of ANY county in ANY state that doesn’t have American citizens who’ve been on a waiting list for years to get help with housing...that includes the disabled!!! As it is, we will be pouring $$$ into Haiti for many years to come....why can’t they go home and help to rebuild their own country? And, like Mexicans should, take back their country from the corruption. If they can’t turn things around for themselves, no one else is going to do it for them.
Like Glenn has been saying, they are going for amnesty next. They think they will kick the politically correct door open and we won’t be able to fight them because it’s Haiti. Stay and work? I think he means stay and collect unemployment along with the +10% unemployed citizens. How does it help Haiti to keep Haitians who were here when the earthquake hit? What is the purpose other than to force Congress to pass amnesty. And rile up the Tea Partiers.
Sure...get your “temporary protected status”, then in 18 months hunt them down and deport them back to their country where they belong. At least we’ll know who they are and where they live now. At least thats what I tell myself the government will do, I know the truth will be that they are staying in the US for the rest of their lives to live off welfare.

There is so much wrong with this I don’t know where to start.
And here I was going to say it’s nice they’re finally “documenting” some of these people in some way. But then I realized this story is not that simple.
