Like the 30-plus czars running America with neither the people’s nor the congress’s blessings, the Council of Governors is already a done deal.

Obama vetoed that bill.
It looks the obama team is saying this council was mandated by the National Defense Authorization Act, FY 2008 - which was VETOED by President Bush.
Um... I did a search of Free Republic for “Council of Governors” prior to posting this article from CFP and there were zero (0) hits found.
Yeah, it appears the National Defence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2008 never became a bill.

basically the Govenors are five rats & five rinos who don’t get paid except a per diem for travel . They get called out by Sec.of Defense to talk about using the National Guard as part of homeland security ie keeping the rabble ( thats us folks ) in their proper place . Sounds like one these bad old days its gonna be meat hook,piano wire,Congressman some assembly required time.

No that’s not what I was referring to I posted the information in other articles to warn people about it and I see CFP now wrote about the information I posted inside of other posts.

That’s probably why they are considering it. I’m surprised the revolution didn’t already start years and years ago but lately there has been more unhappiness with the gov’t and more rumblings.
It seems that just about everyone is fed up with Congress, the Senate, the Supreme Court, the White House.....all facets of the gov’t.
I keep wondering how far the American people can be pushed before they finally say, “Enough is enough” then actually do something about it.
