Tea Party tastes like bad brew [Says "big business sets the Tea Party agenda"]
The Nevada City Union ^ | January 9, 2010 | Cheryl Cook

Did you really think they just passed around a three-cornered hat?

Big corporations make contributions to Republican organizations like FreedomWorks, chaired by Dick Armey, who pour money and support into the bitter tea pot. What do the billionaire boys get out of their contributions? Less government and more freedom in big business equates to less regulation and bigger profit margins. The stock market has risen in recent months. Ask yourself why the unemployment rate is still high.

Because big business sets the Tea Party agenda.

Yeah, some "fat cats" in suits smoking cigars were handing out "The Agenda" pamphlets in DC on 9/12. And we all did exactly as we were told. Yeah...

Cheryl is a typical, uninformed idiot...
I researched as much as I possibly could during the campaigns. I knew the “Won’s” plan for a Global Tax Proposal written about when he was a senator in February of 2008, and it wasn’t the FIRST thing I found out about him. If Cheryl knew about the Millennium Declaration back in 2008 that the “Won” was espousing, I’ll bet I’m a Sophia Loren look-a-like. Cheryl and her “ilk” saw NOTHING past the color of his skin and failed in her RESPONSIBILITY to research those that would wield power over us-—SHAME on her and the offal that brought this FRAUD to the rest of us.

And, just for the hell of it, I don’t remember any corporations “supporting” or having a DAMNED thing to say about the Tea Party in Atlanta, in FEBRUARY, in the pouring down rain, when patriotic, tax-paying, God fearing producers took time from their JOBS to protest the socialist creep into our great country......THAT’S RIGHT...FEBRUARY, 2008. Most people think the first Tea Party was April 15th, 2008. WE were pissed off (for good reason) WAY before April. Bet Cheryl doesn’t know THAT, either. (I’ll hazard a guess she’s on Soros’ payroll...idiot...I hope she hasn’t spawned...if she HAS, I’ll say a prayer for her children.)

WOW! Now that’s some STRONG tea! That’s 3 - there should be about 97 more. ;)

They went from the ‘ignore’ button to the ‘fear’ button mighty quick - I’m loving it!

Especially those "Big Business" billionaires!

And why?

Because they... set the agenda!

The only way to get at these liberals is to win. They don’t go away and leave you along, but you have the comfort of knowing they are miserable. But then, they’re usually miserable.

This is one twisted piece of mental masturbatory logic (so many logical fallacies in so little space). More profits might also mean more jobs. Yes the stock market has risen but the unemployment rate is still high might and that might mean that Obama is helping Wall Street while doing nothing to help Main Street.

It would seem that our drooling genius considers a rising stock market to be as undesirable as rising unemployment. And who might bear the responsibility for both?

What about the pirates at Goldman Sachs who took billions off-shore to the Cayman Islands to avoid taxes on profits, then lost it all? The investors with big money might afford to lose, but not the common man who lost the opportunity to borrow on that money to finance a small business or home loan.

The tea parties I went to would have put bailed out bankers just behind Congressmen on the list of people to chase through the streets with torches and pitch forks.

That is just a retarded concept. Even out here in San Jose, Kahleefornee-ah I know several Tea Party Protesters and NONE are associated with Big Business and many have always felt the government is getting to big for it's britches.

No I will go and actually read the article.

“If we want peace abroad, we must start with peace at home.”

Really? What are “your” terms”. Maybe I reject them.

Why do I think your terms are part of some collectivist ideal that erodes the right of the individual, which necessarily makes it the governments business to take care of each of us, collectively?

Why isn't the Tea Party Patriots movement outraged over the health insurance industry...

Why isn't the Tea Party indignant over the banking industry...

Why isn't the Tea Party even mildly concerned about executives from Exxon Mobil, Royal Dutch Shell, Chevron, and ConocoPhillips...

Because Cheryl, none of those people force me to give them money at the end of a gun. Government does. I can go my whole life without paying a penny to any of those companies, but I have to give money to the Government.

Tell me, why aren't you upset with the Government for handing out your tax dollars to all of the above?

Because you are a socialist, Cheryl, and you think that Government can do no wrong.

'Cheryl Cook lives in Nevada City'.

Nevada City, Ca seems like one of those artsy-fartsy Hippy communities -- there's a lot of 'notable people' from there that nobody's ever heard of -- and it has a population less than 3,000.

So I'm surprised Cheryl had time to write this?
Putting her Bong down for ten minutes must have been stressful.

We’re coming to get you, Cheryl - 60 million armed patriots are about to crush your Tinkerbell fascist utopia. No more welfare for fat mommas, no more SS disability for her commie kids, no more unions, no more commie teachers in schools.

Canada still has a few spots open for you goosesteppers. Hurry now. Time is short. U Haul is running out of trucks. And if we send you packing, it’s one-way to North Korea, baby.

Why isn't the Tea Party Patriots movement outraged over the health insurance industry whose largest top 10 publicly traded companies had profits that collectively rose 428 percent between 2000 and 2007? How much do you pay for health insurance?

Because that is a lie that has no base in fact.
