There is a great paragraph in the article that says it all:

“The truth is that Obamacare is a care rationing, proxy death-paneling, taxpayer-abortion-funding,

unconstitutionally individual-mandating, vast-bureaucracy creating, incredibly high taxing, free enterprise hobbling,

doctor-patient-relationship interfering, medical-device denying, flexible savings-account destroying, trial-lawyer gift-wrapping, union-boss mollycoddling,

medical price-increasing, job-killing, sinister power-grabbing, American republic-undermining

mound of legislative plutonium.”

Too funny!

The author makes a good point that Republican leadership is unwilling to use all the tools available to them. While they did take the symbolic step of requiring the Reid amendment to be read, they did not couple that with a quorum call which would have required the physical presence in the chamber of at least 50 senators. In many ways, the quorum requirement is is a more powerful tool than the filibuster, especially with the sick, lame and lazy bunch of senators we now have.

In the final analysis, it seems that most republican office holders are more interested in getting along than in winning.

The Liberals have been running a scorched earth policy against the Constitution and the American Poeople for decades. It’s about time they get it in return.

Do I expect the spineless Pubbies will do it? No. A few will have the stones, but most of the rest are - let's face it - not warriors. They just want to be liked.

It's a shame the country is being reduced to falling back on the last resort of a lone, single Amendment in the original Bill of Rights...

I am sorry, I think that they will push this no matter what.
