Palin Vs. Arnold: Terminating California

Leadership: Alaska's ex-governor asks a question we'd like answered: Why is California's current governor pushing the same policies in Copenhagen that helped drive his state into record deficits and unemployment?

The movie series that made Arnold Schwarzenegger a household name involved cyborgs traveling through time to alternately try to destroy or save one John Connor, who would grow up to be the leader of the resistance against a race of machines that ruled the planet. Prominent in the series was his tough cookie of a mom, Sarah Connor.

Another Sarah has taken the lead in another resistance against another group determined to destroy the planet in order to save it in the name of climate change. She has crossed political swords with California's governor, the self-styled "climate action hero for the globe" who finds himself in Copenhagen seeking a "planetary transformation."

"There is a statue of the Little Mermaid in the harbor based on the Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale," Schwarzenegger said at the conference based on another fairy tale. "But when I was a boy in Austria, my favorite tale was the Ugly Duckling because it was a tale of transformation that spoke to me inside." We're not making this up.

Acting on that inspiration, Schwarzenegger said: "The desire and hope and desperate need for planetary transformation is what brought me here. Is it a dream, a fairy tale, a false hope? If not, how can we make it real?"

"while "green jobs" had grown 36% statewide since 1995, they constituted only 1% of all state jobs. Imagine the economy of the entire United States shackled by such legislation. We won't have the luxury of saying it's only a movie."

Here. Here.

The San Diego Union-Tribune recently called for a suspension of AB 32, given that state unemployment is at 12.5% and it's the state's business climate that needs saving.

California would do us all a big favor by retaining AB 32 and allowing us all to see the results of such foolishness.

Arnold embraces all that must be purged from the Republican Party—lest there be no meaningful alternative to raging Marxism.

Ahnold does what it takes to win re-election. Green is popular in CA(duh.) Conservatives have no clue what it takes to win in moderate or liberal states and districts. That is why rats are a super majority and why we can look forward to more rat rule in 2010.

Ahhnold's political trajectory offers several lessons, for voters and students of politics alike. Just a very short time ago, Republicans were excited that someone famous like Ahhnold was actually a Republican! There was gnashing of teeth that he couldn't become President.

Clearly, little was known about him. It was all assumptions about the characters he played while forgetting he was married to a very liberal Kennedy.

These stories rarely end well and his trajectory is like that of an underpowered round that hits the ground long before it could ever hit its target. A dud. Hasta la vista.

Because he is a former Hollywood celebrity. Hollywood celebrities do all the fun, trendy things which makes them useless in the real world. Being social ornaments, they make great representatives of fun times, but useless in a real crisis.

Your usual response but better edited, and self reflectively honest. Thanx for reading my post even you didn't take the time to think about it.

Are you sure you want to hold up the "girly-man" who among other fits of lunacy has a lifelong liberal Democrat for his Chief of Staff as a success story for Republicans to follow?
