It’s a bit easier to just refuse to buy shoes in his store. Let him sell them to his Muslim friend.

Mr. Morand may find his shoe sales dropping in Switzerland. If 57% of voters did not want to see a minaret, then those same folks are likely to avoid a shoe store with a minaret.

I encourage him to portray a suicide bomber, just to make things complete. Just do it somewhere in a field.

I just hope that this idiot doesn't really need to sell a whole lot of shoes.
I sense a silent change of heart real soon.

A chimney as a minaret? That’s blasphemy, isn’t it? Reminds me of Roy Harper’s “The Black Cloud of Islam”...

"It was scandalous that the Swiss voted for the ban. Now we have the support of all the far-right parties across Europe. Scandalous that "the people" expressed themselves? Eff the twit.

A bit easier perhaps. But somewhat less effective, I should think.

Yes: Much less effective, but you dont get arrested for not buying shoes. Arson is another story.

His offense isn’t against one man personally. It is against the collective, the people who overwhelingly banned the construction of minarets. If he defies them by building one, he is hardly in any position to claim their protection under their collective guardian, the Law.
If a mob carried out the sentence I mentioned above, who would the authorities arrest? Everyone? Not likely.
It’s high time these arrogant ba$tards pay with their lives and property for spitting in the face of The People.
