A spokeswoman for the local restaurant, Allison Garrett, said in a statement the employee who left the voice mail "acted outside the scope of his authority and was not responsible for hiring." He no longer works at the restaurant.

Bellamy is a male who has been living as a female for about the past six years. She said she completed a job application online, then was called to the store for an interview. When one manager refused to see her, she called later and was granted an interview with another manager.
"He began to laugh at me once he saw me," said Bellamy, who wore a suit to the interview. "He said, 'Oh, I can't interview you today. I'm busy.'"
One of the managers also left her a voice mail saying: "We do not hire faggots."

Seriously, I do not understand these people. True story. A few months ago, the salon where I go to get my hair done had a transgender working there.
He wore high heels, dresses, skirts, wide leg slacks, low cut tops and inch and a half long hot pink acrylic finger nails. The make up, the whole shebang.
This guy kept tugging down on the hem of the top, trying to cover his ‘package’ which would give away that he wasn’t a girl. Very annoying.
The voice would go back and forth from being questionable to male.
Evidently he was taking meds to soften the voice and in time planned on getting breast implants. Ok, fine. He didn’t plan on a total sex change, just getting breast implant, his partner had already gooten his breast implants.
One day, I am waiting and he hasn’t arrived for work yet, and the owner and I were talking and she didn’t approve of his working there and felt it was hurting business. I agree, he was always taking personal calls while working and complaining because this guy or that guy didn’t call him back. (and yeah, I was thinking, but you have a ‘partner’???)
So, anyway, the owner tells me that he is on his way, his partner is dropping him off. the owner then points out the window and says he’s here now. This guy dressed like a woman gets out of the passenger side and the partner, the one that had gotten the breast implants is SPORTING A FULL BEARD AND MUSTACHE!
What the heck?! And they wonder why people don’t take them seriously.
Anyway, this guy was hitting on the male customers and even chased after one customer in the parking lot trying to get his phone number. The owner fired him for that. Can’t blame her.
If both men have breasts are they lesbians? I just don’t understand these people at all.
Plus they only had the one restroom and I didn’t like that. It was just very uncomfortable around there when he was there. The one stylist said her family and friends wouldn’t go there because of him.

The more disturbing point is a 17 year old boy has been living as a girl for SIX years - since age ELEVEN. There is major child abuse somewhere in this story.....

That is part of the problem. They want these children to be able to call themselves 'gay' at earlier and earlier ages. These kids are probably not gay at all. At eleven kids are trying to transition into their teens, its an awkward age at best and this 'oh their confusion means they are gay' is bs.
It all boils down to this.
Should a business have to hire people who will drive away their customers?
Nobody wants a burger from this freak.
How can someone not responsible for hiring be blamed for someone not being hired? Why do people assume they should be hired and sue?
Never give a reason for not hiring someone if you don’t have to and never give a reason for firing someone if you don’t have to. That should be a rule.
