The theme song from that flick, “Burning Bridges,” is one of my all time favorites.

Do a search for the “Hipster” dictionary from the 40’s. It took whites 25 years to catch on to it!

I can hear the howls from Congress from here. They intended that money to be stolen by Iraqis!

The main reason I bought the CD when it finally came out a couple of years ago. My dad got me hooked on that movie when I was about 9 or so. My best friend of 20 plus years finally saw it last year and thought it was one of the best movies he’d ever seen.

U.S. District Court Judge Ancer Haggerty set sentencing for March 1 after Capt. Michael Dung Nguyen entered guilty pleas to theft and money-laundering charges. Why is this begin handled in US District Court, instead of by a Court Martial?

Oddball used too much language out of time for 1944. He came off sounding like a 60s hippy. It was a comedy, not a documentary.

He was a 60’s hippie wet dream of a hollywood clod spreading his antiwar filth.
Too bad he wasn’t shot at Kent State too

Yes,,what a shame. This guy had a great free education and then he turned on his country. Why wasn’t he Court Martialed? This is clearly covered by the UCMJ.

it was a comedy, not a documentary. There were times in the movie when it was difficult to tell that it was a comedy, like after losing 3 guys in the minefield...definetly one of the darker moments in the film.
