Scientists Back Off of Ardi Claims (Evos give climate-hoaxers a run for their money...LOL!)
ICR News ^ | December 4, 2009 | Brian Thomas, M.S.

It had features that some interpreted as a link between two primate body forms. At the time, ICR News suggested that its evolutionary significance was far overblown, predicting that the scientific consensus would offer retractions. “Debate on church doctrine and or threads on specific religious matters may be best posted in the religion forum, but the defense of religious freedom, especially against those who wish to deprive us of same belongs front and center on FR....They banned God and prayer and creationism from public schools and public places, but I’ll be damned if they’re gonna ban Him or it from FR!”

Bless their collective hearts. One does have to ‘feel’ their pain in that vast emptiness of missing links.

I am glad you could post this here, I might have missed it.

When this “find” was announced the link they tried to make to man made no sense to me. I said to someone they will find out that this is an existing species.

You can thank Jim Robinson for allowing these posts in News/Activism. They were all being banished to Gen/Chat, until Jim stood up and personally intervened on behalf of the large body of FReepers who belong to the Christian Right. See #1 for more :o)

Those retractions came three months later, confirming that the fossil―called Darwinius―was really just an extinct lemur variety...

So a single incorrect claim in paleontology that takes three months to correct is somehow equivalent to the AGW fraud?

Because of what I put in the parenthesis in the title, and because I think they are linked/motivated by nature-religion, ideology, and fraud.

"...on behalf of the large body of FReepers who belong to the Christian Right."

What you meant to say was: "..on behalf of the dozen or so FReepers who nominally claim to belong to the Christian Right and who rabidly fantasize that this crap is actually representative of the belief of any Christians at all."

Yes, the Cult of Gaia (AGW) and the Cult of Darwin (Evolutionists) are related. Both Refuse the existence of God.

What? Scientist objectively evaluating a scientific claim in order to get the correct conclusion from the observable data available? Scientist challenging and correcting other scientific claims based on evidence? The free market place of ideas producing the best & accurate conclusions . . . What a concept! That’s what happens when the only dogma is the process not the conclusion.
Too bad we can’t apply the same standards to the biblical flood or the exodus or the earth standing still or the existence of biblical characters . . .
