Years ago Sullivan could often be interesting, whatever one thought of his view on an issue he wrote about ..... since he went moonbat over the Iraq War and gay issues he’s as stale and predictable as any nut at DailyKosFreaks.
The fact that he resorts to parrotting so many tiresome rants of the far left shows the extent to which he is merely a tool of the left, no matter how much he fancies himself to be an independent thinker.
Now that I think of it, he’s never really sounded too rational since it was revealed that he was placing anonymous ads seeking fellow gays who are into “barebacking” (no protection).
Normally I reject ad hominem types of argument, but in his case I do think that psychological explanations are essential where his facts and reasoning fails so badly ..... when one compares things he wrote post-9/11 (but pre-Iraq War) with his rants of the last few years, something(s) definitely sent him lurching suddenly toward the far left ala David Brock.

They have issues with her femininity, her skin color, her family, her baby who has down syndrome, her religion, her daughter’s teenage pregnancy, her state of residency, her experience... When will Americans wake up to the fact that the Leftist media is doing a full court press to slander a woman who has more in common with the average American than any major political figure since who knows when.
I mean heck, she doesn’t have to look in a camera and say, “I feel your pain.” She’s lived it... in spades.
