Videotape of the incident shows that Sheehan yelled "Get out of my face" through the megaphone at the man, who slapped the device away. Other protesters immediately joined Sheehan and traded insults with the man, and a shoving match broke out. The military veteran told reporters that he was upset with the anti-war protesters' effect on troop morale. "They ruin the troops. They get to the troops. They did the same thing in Vietnam," he said.

They are just trying to get publicity and cause trouble. They don’t believe what they are saying or they would be protesting Obama who is about to send more soldiers overseas. They are hypocrites and whiny little *itches.
Her warped mentality is showing. She and her ilk are the drones. The USAF Master Sergeant was morally courageous to confront them. Her actions are what was truly "morally reprehensible".
"We are here non-violently, and he came up and shoved the megaphone into my face," she said. "I'm never going to stop, no matter how we're oppressed."
Incorrect, her action to put the bullhorn in the Master Sergeants face was assault and battery (if he suffered hearing damage). He was well within his rights to defend himself and strike the bullhorn away. Sheehan did the oppressing and continues to do so.
Sheehan said she would be speaking to an attorney about legal action against the man.
That would be something to see since she instigated the whole affair and assaulted a member of the military.
Code Pink protester Xan Joy, who physically confronted the man during the incident, called the man a "bully" and said his behavior was meant to intimidate the protesters.
Since Sheehan's actions were specifically designed to invoke a response, I posit that she was the bully, arriving with a crew of like-minded individuals with on purpose. Code Pink was attempting to intimidate.
"He should be so happy and grateful that there are people in this country that are trying to protect him and his children and everybody's children from war," Joy said.
Once again, wrong-thinking. It is the Master Sergeant that is protecting her and their kin, not the other way around. Sheehan has benefited from her son's death grotesquely. The woman has no shame.
The events of the day did not end when the protesters packed up and left. When part of Code Pink's caravan paused in the middle of the road, Sheehan was given a ticket for impeding traffic.

"I got assaulted by this old man and I'm the one given a ticket. So, yeah, it's bulls***," Sheehan said.
You were the one that broke the law. Suck it up.
They sure do a lot of traveling—all that expense, food, lodging, transportation—how does that happen? I predict that it is only a matter of time when some counter protestors take another step against these hateful anti-Americans...
Free speech is free speech and some might go ahead and take their speech a little further.

I notice the press runs this - what were there - maybe 5 protesters? They didn’t even have enough to keep their banner from all but lifting their sorry butts off the ground.
The media covers 5-6 demonstrators but ignores 1.7 million Tea Party folk in DC - and ten of thousands in hundreds of cities across the land.

What hacks me off is that the military police immediately confront the vet and make him back off, instead of hurling that code pink filth to the ground (vewwy woughly), handcuffing her, and charging her with assault and riot.

Which is why, IMHO, that the so-called 'anti-war' movement should have been shut down in 2001, before the first boots ever hit the ground in Afghanistan. They should have been given the same treatment that Lincoln gave the Copperheads during the Civil War - a trip to the hoosegow at Ft. Lookout.
