Because I could? LOL
Drive'em like ya stole it, then sell and do it again. LOL
"Your new Vette is 4 times the car."
Indeed it is, much quicker than many of the exotics at a fraction of the investment. But that'd be missing the point of a neurotic car lover's obsession. LOL
"Years ago, a friend lent me his 328 GTS for the weekend. I put all of 40 miles on it. Couldnt wait to return it"
A 328 GTS is Ferrari's "Rabbit"
Try an Enzo, get back with me. ;^)
You're right, lousy legroom. I thought.
This shyster, he must've been under 5'10".
6' & over guys barely have the legroom to shift.
Testarossa's alright, I guess. Gas guzzler. All smoke, no fire. Little slow.
But, if it'll make you happy. LOL
Judging by the purr, I'll say it's an E-Type steph.
Nice. A professionally done one fetchs big soild money.
"Not too many of them arounda collectors car."
No there aren't. And if one's not had the "professionally done" treatment I mention, above?
It probably can't be started, isn't roadworthy. LOL
Notoriously bad, unreliable etc.
But once restored, properly?
Visually beautiful, interesting performance while technically adequate. True British sportscar in every way.
You'd look right at home behind the wheel of an XKE, Liz. :^)
That car’s so racy-—it looks like it’s going 90 miles per hours parked in the driveway.
The old Jaguars were the best as far as looks ...... Too many mechanical problems but great looks. I liked the older Mercedes too. I noticed some of the older African immigrants around town. Once they made it big here they bought an older Mercedes just like the dictators had back in their kleptocrat ruled homeland. Me and my friends would joke about that
If I had money to blow it would be on a few older (pre-1990) Jags and Mercedes and the mechanics to keep them running great
Mel Martinez is in that photos with Crist and Rothstein
There's a legend among Jag owners----you need three Jags.
One for the road, one in the garage, and one broken down on the highway.
Bob Norman at the New Times .......
The guy is anti-Israel and a lefty but has been doing a great job. I am at daily pulp right now. Bob Norman has been laboring away for years and all these efforts are NOW coming to fruition.... so I’m glad to see his success
Just shows how brain dead Steve Kane is not to have him on every week
I’ve wondered what the deal was with Martinez resigning so abruptly, also.
Anyone have the story or a theory?
If it doesn't look similar to the one in #31, you're talking about an earlier model. Very nice either way, actually, providing updates have been made.
Nice weekend cruiser, and, a great investment.
About the rap sheet you posted of the Emmanual Brothers.
Nothing like family, huh.
"OMG---would you believe there's ANOTHER perfect Emanuel brother...in Hollywood?"
One in Hollywierd too, huh.
The trifecta. LOL
“A 328 GTS is Ferrari’s “Rabbit””
It must have been, because when I stomped on the gas, all I laid were little green turds. No rubber ;-)
British cars were notorious for electrical problems. The Jag was king ;-)
LOL
Those models weren't performance monsters, in fact IIRC the 328 was Ferrari's first V8. No matter, they're pretty attractive & still command top dollar.
Which, kidding aside, is what I'd do with the shyster's Italian toy: Sell it.
Make for some good walking around dough. LOL
I was serious about leg room in those cars. K&I looked at several while at Pensky-Wynn's stealership in Las Vegas.
In complete honestly we were shocked the cabins of the megabuck Ferraris [we'd sat in] were so cramped; which, for us is a big deal breaker if/when talking that kind of denaro, y'know?
"British cars were notorious for electrical problems. The Jag was king"
Lucas Electric(als). First thing to go in any restoration.
Just never do anything altering the delicious aroma of aged British leather. ;^)
British Leyland, et al.....
“Never use one electrical switch, when you can use 14......”
Check this out... in light of the recent revealed info about the bank records of Fusion GPS ...
TD Bank is the bank Fusion GPS was using...
Fusion GPS hired CIA’s Nellie Ohr, wife of Bruce Ohr, to do research on their Trump dig
