Wonder how his adoring media is going to take this turn?

Look what I found this morning in the NY Daily News, a liberal tabloid: Former GOP presidential candidate John McCain in fight of career for his Arizona Senate seat: poll.

"Gotta sound conservative now, fool the boobs and then get back to 'doing the right thing for America'."

What is fascinating is the plaintive comment by Lindsey Grahamnesty about how "he's the guy who brought me into climate change".

I'd like to ask Sen. Grahamnesty, now that 'climate change' has been exposed as a total con job with the release of the CRU emails, would you like to revise your recent op-ed in the NY Times?

McCain’s just jealous that since Kennedy died Graham’s been pairing up with Kerry to displace him as chief “moderate” in the GOP.

McCain to Graham: WAAAAH! I’ve tutored and mentored and raised you up as my protege and now you cast me aside and steal MY spotlight!

I just heard a Hannity re-play, where he interviewed Sen. Grahamnesty. He talked about how he wanted to make the process better. He talked about carbon pollution and air pollution interchangably (the dummy). As an excuse, he talked about how the EPA now had authority to regulate carbon. He talked about the climate bill as a way to expand off-shore drilling, nuclear power, limit oil imports and keep coal available for energy. He wouldn't vote for a bill without those items.

Hannity, as usual, dropped the ball and didn't question the "carbon pollution" aspect. But he did warm Grahamnesty that he was being used by the Democrats to push this global warming (which Grahamnesty believes in).

Grahamnesty's been feeling the heat, which I think is why he went after the Attorney General on the terror trial in New York. But all of these guys seem to be dumb as rocks and couldn't think on their feet, if their lives were at stake. So, one guy a little more prepared than the other guy, tears him to shreds. But 17 year old girls talking to Nora O'Donnell could do just as well and probably better.

But nothing about state’s rights.... Who is the federal government to “regulate” drilling, nuclear power, mining etc. that goes on in states? The guy needs to get lost, yesterday.

The EPA? The guy confirms that he’s a power-in-Washington guy.
