Sarah Palin Gives Oprah Her Highest Ratings In Two Years

The Left and the media may hate her, but Sarah Palin is a ratings sensation.

Such appears to be the case given the announcement that Monday's episode of "Oprah" was the most watched for the daytime talk queen in two years.

Palin even drew more viewers than pop singer Whitney Houston when she sat with Oprah earlier this year.

Just imagine all the sighs and rolling eyes in newsrooms from coast to coast.

As THR.com reported Wednesday (h/t TVNewser):

Oprah Winfrey’s interview with former vp candidate Sarah Palin scored the talk show host her highest rating in two years.

Monday's episode of "The Oprah Winfrey Show" drew a 8.7 household rating and 13 share -- the best since Oprah had the entire Osmond family on the show in 2007.

That means Palin also topped Oprah's heavily viewed interviews with Whitney Houston at the start of the season.

Well, shucks, I NEVER WATCH Orphah, but to see Sara Palin, I’d probably turn on the TV...

Her ratings would have been even higher if Oprah had somebody else do the interview. There are many Palin fans that refused to watch Orca on principle.

Oprah and her staff are RACISTS...they refuse to talk to WAYNE PERRYMAN who wrote the book “Unfounded Loyalty” about Blacks loyalty to the Democrat party....and Mr. Perryman is BLACK. Someday, people will be spitting on her grave for what she’s done.

No surprise. Nobody watches the fat old crack ho anymore, unless she manages to land a live one for an interview.

Lets watch and see her numbers tank again.

The Fat 0 will have to invite the belt wearing dude Michele 0 in hopes of beating Palins numbers.

I’m not an Oprah fan, but Sarah did the right thing in appearing on that show.

...drew more viewers than pop singer Whitney Houston

Is this supposed to be surprising? Is Whitney a big draw? Has she done anything (other than consume illegal substances) since 1985?

When you get comments like this over on HuffPo, I think the Left just might be in trouble:

The only news I want to hear about Oprah is that her show is off the air. I have no respect for the woman. It would be hard to tell who is more smug and egocentric, Oprah or the Kenyan Marxist occupying the White House.

I have to agree. She reached a large audience and showed that she isn't what she was portrayed during the campaign. It's easy to go to a sympathtic audience. Not so easy to march into enemy territory.

I have only heard clips of the interview, but she held her own.

Very good stagtery..Sarah.

I did watch the interview and Oprah was very gracious and fair in her questioning of Sarah. They even shared hugs.

I checked it out. Oprah was wearing extra dark makeup and her wig looked awful. Then, I briefly checked out that show for a moment yesterday. She had on Nichole Kidman. Oprah’s hair and makeup were done much better.

Unfortunately for Sarah’s interview my husband kept talking over it about family matters. So, I had to put TV on mute.
