Million Hit By 'Plague Worse Than Swine Flu'
Daily Express ^ | November 15, 2009 | Greg Miskiw

A DEADLY plague could sweep across Europe, doctors fear, after an outbreak of a virus in Ukraine plunged the country and its neighbours into a state of panic. A cocktail of three flu viruses are reported to have mutated into a single pneumonic plague, which it is believed may be far more dangerous than swine flu. The death toll has reached 189 and more than 1 million people have been infected, most of them in the nine regions of Western Ukraine. President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko has called in the World Health Organisation and a team of nine specialists are carrying out tests in Kiev and Lviv to identify the virus. Samples have been sent to London for analysis. President Yushchenko said: “People are dying. The epidemic is killing doctors. This is absolutely inconceivable in the 21st Century.”

Does anyone else thing there is something weird about this whole swine flu phenomenon? What about the fact that Baxter Labs "accidentally" sent vaccine material containing live Avian bird flu and seasonal influenza to labs around the world? Bloomberg reported this last February. Then there was the weird story about the man arrested in California in August who claimed that Baxter's Ukranian lab was in fact producing a bioweapon disguised as a vaccine....

Few people have any "natural" immunity to influenza viruses.

We'll check up on this AFTER the stink blows off eh!

Pneumonic plague? Its a bacteria that is carried by infected fleas on rats. The Black Death in the Middle Ages burned like a wildfire through European society. Almost three fourths of the population was dead before it had run its course. We haven't had a pandemic for the last century.

I'm giving in to total paranoia here for just a moment --

This feels like an election recount in MN. Coleman won? Recount. Coleman won again? Recount. Really?? Recount it again! Ahhhhhhhh ... Franken won. We can stop.

It seems like disease is cropping up all over the place, and each one will wipe out millions, but then it doesn't -- but then another terrible disease pops up and everyone panics, until it fizzles -- but then ...

Seems like the cycle may repeat until the evil guys in the lab finally get a microbe that really packs a punch.

[/paranoid rant]

It does seems strange for this to appear suddenly in just the Ukraine. The bioweapon-experiment-gone-bad hypothesis can’t be completely dismissed, offhand.

In the comments.... "I notice how all the reports of planes spraying over the Ulraine have been ignored!? countless people telephoned the government & tv station asking what were these planes doing spraying just 2 days before the outbreak this is vitally important as BAXTERS have a laboratory near there & it would not be the first time that BAXTERS have deliberately infected people with their virus (which has a US PATENT No.) Have BAXTERS deliberately poisoned the population of the Ukraine? to spread their virus & therefore get more money??? this needs to be investigated at once as a matter of the utmost urgency as BAXTERS are criminal in their handling of this plague virus"

Wow! Just wow!

You don’t have to make excuses for your ideas. There aren’t too many people around here gonna tell you to get out the tinfoil anymore. Too much has happened that the most paranoid among us couldn’t have dreamt up.

I have been having the same thoughts about all these various diseases, bird flu, then swine flu, now this pneumonic flu. This can’t all happen naturally all within a 3 or 4 year period. Well maybe it can, but i don’t believe it has.

I’ve been saying that Obowmao and whomever else is in on this world takeover needs a mega-disaster in order to institute martial law here in the USA and that it would likely include quarantining us. Whether it be from a nuke to a major US city or from a disease that is out of control.

The first one, the nuking of a US city, might be by some “home grown” terrorists. The second, the disease, is nobody’s fault, but we still have to put the Constitution and all federal, state and local rights on hold for our own good.

“Does anyone else thing there is something weird about this whole swine flu phenomenon?”

I have had the same inclination as ClearCaseGuy describes: That “they” want some sort of a pandemic to be able to seize control and void normal laws, like Vain Hussein’s declaration of National Health Emergency.

google thieves oil!!
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

The History of Thieves
Europeans began producing essential oils in the 12th century. During the Plague of the 15th century, certain thieves robbed the dead without becoming infected. Finally, four thieves were captured in Marseilles, France, and charged with robbing the dead and dying victims of the plague.

At the trial, the magistrate offered them leniency if they would reveal how they managed to avoid contracting the dreaded infection, in spite of their close contact with infected corpses. It was disclosed that these thieves were perfumers and spice traders who had rubbed themselves with a concoction of aromatic herbs (cinnamon, clove, and oregano).

Well, I can scarcely think of a likelier place than Ukraine to suffer from a lab-made plague put together under the direction of a man who has a habit of poisoning his enemies with outré substances.

That was very possibly effective, as the transmission vector was fleas. Completely irrelevant to air-transmitted flu virus though...

189 deaths out of over one million known cases, is a mortality rate of 0.0189% or less.

No, No, No....please pay attention and take this seriously: This could be a disaster. It sounds like the 1918 worldwide flu pandemic. The killer virus mutates and begins to spread in a small geographical area (in 1918 mthey think it started in a small Kansas town) and then spreads exponentially, mutating all teh way, before a vacine can be made. In 1918, the flu killed millions in a few months; in the US cities such as Philly had thousands of deaths a day. The only persons who avoided it were those who totally isolated themselves until the virus had passed. Those who died generally turned blue/black, and either were dead, with black lungs, within 12-24 hours of the first symptoms, or else seemed to recover and prematurely resumed acitivity and contracted pneumonia and other common bugs whiiich overwhelmed them due to a depleted immune system. My mother’s father died November 6, 1918 in the later manner. A word to the wise....

I came across this article that I find interesting. WHO redefined the meaning of pandemic early this year:

I'm rereading a great book "The Last Centurian", John Ringo, which reminds me of some FR authors, in that it is very close to a lot of today's headlines and is foreward looking for it's time.

It has a plague which is scarily similar to reports on this one and it really nails the liberal bend towards socialized medicine. Great work of fiction, conservative outlook and reminds me of some superb FR authors.
