When you are supplying and arming both sides of the conflict through payment to warlords and Taliban for safe passage of your supplies, and each 1000 troops cost a billion to maintain with the lowest estimate of success (if possible) is 400,000 troops and as high as 600,000.
The 50,000 requested is a drop in the ocean at 50 billion and much more loot for the Warlords, Taliban and the military industrial complex.
The politicians, warlords and Taliban support you all in not wanting to let the US leave they have never had it so good.
Poor tribes fighting poor tribes is for losers, and that is all they will have left if Uncle Sam abandons them.
And too think he denounced he was muslim in his campaign until he had to fess up when he addressed the muslim world in a speech. How stupid could the American people be? I mean seriously. If he were not muslim his name would be Barry Obama. Now the million dollar question is:

It’s a tough call for BHO.If he listens to his General he loses the left’s vote on health care. He has no moral compass, no respect for the military,no backbone, so unlike Bush, he’s stuck. To let these troops twist in the wind while he plots his political future is criminal.

I'm all too familiar with lung cancer -- he wouldn't have the energy he does if he were suffering from that, even in the early stages. Trust me.
Adderall, OTOH, gives one a "boost" -- it aids in exercise and concentration (at least for brief periods). From everything I've seen and read, he fits the profile, now and in the past.
Cigarette-smoking (another subject I'm familiar with) doesn't automatically make someone slim. Sure, it can curtail appetite for some, but there are too many overweight smokers to make the generalization. Given his enormous public exposure now, I doubt that he could smoke enough in a 24-hour period for it to have any significant effect.
