Your post is in jest,I hope
“She shouldnt have to clean up after customers like this. And dont you think moron is a little harsh?”
No I don’t...if it was me or you in there, do you think she would have jumped on the phone and (probably) sold a tip to the rag that published it? What a big deal this is...she went shopping with her daughters and ACCORDING TO SOME CLERK...and we don’t even know if it is true or as bad as it was made to sound...left clothes in a pile...something EVERYONE on this board and all over America does every day...I’m not defending her, I think it is just plain ugly that this gets sold as they are awful people...and they aren’t...we probably had three hundred people wild about her on her cell phone and a guarantee I’ll see a dozen or more on my 12 mile drive home...big deal...why do we do this to people? We don’t know this is even true...what, is the virtuous clerk incapable of BS ing us?
Let them eat cake.
silly sales clerk. Picking up clothes is for the little people
It is considered bad form (and bad manners) to leave clothes on the dressing room floor.
Maybe so, but I think it is pathetic form to jump on the phone and cash in on someone’s bad form...especially for something that about a million people a year do...and we don’t even know if it is true!
That, and I keep doing all these jobs for everyone else...she wasn’t a guest in someones home and tore up the place...if she had bought the overpriced rags they probably would have made a 400% profit...
I for one...have NEVER done that. Never.
“Your attitude is why no one wants or chooses to help You!
Sales People are Not Slaves and the rest of Us dont want to buy Clothing that has been GROUND INTO THE FLOOR BY DIRTY SCUMBAGS! instead of taken care of, kept off the floor and hung properly like obviously the Wonderful Bush Daughters have been taught long ago to do......:-P”
Yeah you’re right...this clerk has never lied to us before...she probably didn’t sell the hot tip, either, it was a public service...she probably saw them GRINDING stuff into the floor...geez, get a grip...
Big Deal....You know kids are off limits.....oh wait, that excludes the Palin’s kids right?
I don’t think the clerks expected them to put the clothes back on the rack. It’s just common courtesy to put them back on the hangar instead of piling them in a heap on the floor to get wrinkled. I don’t imagine these were cheap duds we’re talking about either...
“something EVERYONE on this board and all over America does every day...”
Nope - not true.
I don’t like the idea of people running around spreading stories about others, but people like the Kennedy/Schwartzennegger family are in the spotlight and they should expect that their actions will be noticed.
But beyond that, it’s simply rude to expect someone else to clean up after you, no matter who you are, and no matter what you think think their job may be.
George, if this is the best that you can do you’ve got waaaaay too much time on your hands.
Many years ago I had a friend who did PR for Sun Valley. The resort always dreaded when Bobby Kennedy’s clan came on vacation. They ALWAYS completely trashed the units they stayed in, and it would cost the resort a fortune in money and lost rental time because they invariably had to gut the units and remodel/rebuild anything the little savages touched. She said the kids didn’t just do normal damage, they set out to actually destroy everything in sight.
The Waif should be happy to be serving Royalty!
Pray for America’s Freedom
I have shopped at Saks and the clerks are on commission and barely give you a break. Probably the woman made no money and leaked this out of anger! The clerks I have had were downright pushy, not a fun place to shop in my opinion.
Considering that this supposedly happened at Saks, I’m wondering why the clerk was not there assisting, retrieving the rejects and fetching another size.
Or don’t they do that at Saks?
But whatever. Ratting out on customers is exceedingly bad form. I doubt that Saks’ management is amused.
Mrs. Schwarzenkennedy was parked illegally as is her wont — and just remembered that they were not in California so they had to hurry.
An a Californian, and not a fan of Arnold, this article is nonsense. People leave unpurchased items in the dressing rooms all of the time. In fact, the stores have clerks who police the cubicles on a regular basis to remove all of the clothing left lying around.
I put mine back on the hangers and return them to the right rack. However, that is the exception.
As for the Saks clerk, she ought to be fired for running to the press. She gets paid to pick up those clothes. She just wanted to make some bad press for Maria and her daughter, that is if we can even believe her.
Sloppy kids. Whiney clerks. What’s new?
